  I have been a member with RVA Financial since 2014 and I want to share another positive experience I had with them. I spoke with Selena (Customer Service Rep); she took her time to listen to me and assisted me with resolving all of my issues. She took the initiative to give me her best and I was highly satisfied as always; she also spoke with her supervisor Walter Mitchell to make sure she had taken all of the proper steps to assist me. After I spoke with her I asked for her supervisor's name and phone number and when I spoke to him, he was just as helpful and kind as she was. I always have positive experiences with RVA, they are always make my banking easy. I will remain a loyal customer of theirs. Thank you RVA Financial.

  The mortgage team at RVA Financial made my home refinance painless. Every question I had was answered. They showed me options. Best of all, I attended a Budgeting class that will help me be debt free in 2020! My refinance saved me more than $1000 a month.   Upon joining this credit union my credit score was suffering and I did not know how to correct it. I went to several of financial workshop on rebuilding credit and changing my spending habits with the help of Darrell Reed. My credit went up 67 points in five months by applying what I learned. Markia Baker assisted me with finding a reliable car on Carvana, it was a smooth easy process and less stress than I thought! RVA financial has a great group of people to work with!

  Back at the end of 2019 I received a call from Ms Markia Baker at RVA Financial. She called to ask if there is anything the bank to do to help me accomplish financial goals. We talked and tackled my first need which was refinancing my vehicle. I was in a bad place with the current lender that I didnt think I would ever get out of. Well it appears a miracle was performed because as of today I am in a better car and was able to get financed through RVA at a better interest rate. Markia and the loan team definitely pulled through for me in a big way and I am truly grateful. My faith has been restored in this financial institution! I plan on continuing to bank with them in the future and will also have my daughter open an account here as well to get her started. Thank you Markia and RVAF!

  Crystal Washington was AWESOME ! She was very kind, patient and exemplified a level of personal concern for my banking and financial needs unlike any I've EVER encountered. Her professionalism highly exalted her youth as she totally provided services past that of someone who's not been in the banking industry that long. I truly enjoyed my experience with this young lady, and because of HER I'm more aware of my credit issues, and will refer this institution to family and friends due to Crystal's assistance today!....RVA!...because of Crystal Washington Rocks!

  I applied to open an account on the website over the weekend and received a callback that Monday morning. Such quick response time. I had the pleasure of speaking with Crystal Washington, she provided exceptional customer service. I never was a customer with a financial institution where they took time to go over your credit report to assist with creditworthiness. By just coming in as a customer to start a savings account for a vacation account, to doing direct deposit with opening up a checking account, to consolidating some credit cards, getting advise on how to increase my scores, to monitoring my credit and receiving a credit card to help build all in less than one (1) week as a member. I feel I came out on top. This is a company that want to see their customers grow. I received direct contact from online, face-to-face, over the phone or just by sending an email.   Darrel Reed a wonderful representative of RVA Financial was a heaven sent individual full of knowledge on how to get your finances in order. His Budget seminar was beyond helpful and full if wonderful ideas on how to save and helping you to understand your needs verses your wants. Darrell went even further when i decided to join RVA Financial. He was able to help me consolidate my debt into one low rate loan. Meeting Darrell and listening to him explain how to budget and get your finances in order has helped me look foward to future plans that i thought were unreachable with my debt.
