  The house was nicely furnished, though we didn't do much cooking while there, the kitchen seem to have everything we needed. The view from the deck was delightful. Great opportunity for bird watching and people on the river. The downside is lack of river access. We brought our kayak and paddle board, which we then left at another property which had a dock and additional kayaks and a canoe for our use. As we were part of a small family group, that is where we ate most of our meals and spent the majority of our afternoons and evenings. We felt the price was a bit high for the number of beds and found another property while there at a much reduced rate, with river access and next to the other favored property.

  My wife and I booked The Perfect View in Monte Rio for a week during the “offseason” and absolutely loved it. The house was clean, comfortable and had great amenities. We loved grilling, hot tubbing and relaxing on the deck while overlooking the river and mountains. The weather was great during the day and cooled off at night, but the heating system in the house warmed us right up. The location is great as well. Easy access to the coast and all the great wineries in the area. We hiked at Salt Point State Park one day, went wine tasting the next and rented a kayak in Healdsburg the following. We definitely plan to come back again.

  We stayed at Twinberry Wood, a little cabin walking distance from the Russian River in Guerneville. I can’t say enough good things about the location and property. Minutes from the river, 30 min from the beach, 10 min from the grocery store and town of Guerneville, and so close to Rio Nido, Duncan Mills, Jenner, etc. I was worried the house would feel small, but it didn’t. The hot tub was perfect in the morning, and evening. WiFi was great. We love this part of California, and can’t wait to return.

  Russian River Homes is a great service. We love staying at their locations (this time was Idle Hours)and have done it for years. It's spacious with a great kitchen and wonderful deck. Water access is key in the hot months. What a great getaway and a good value.

  A gem of a place! Tucked into a quiet neighborhood up against the forest. Lovely, private and quiet backyard. Beautiful cabin with all the amenities. Property management was super communicative. Best I’ve seen. Loved our stay and hope to go again soon!

  Absolutely loved our stay at Big Bertha! The house is so comfortable and beautifully decorated. You immediately feel at home. The air quality was really bad so sadly we didn't take advantage of as many outdoor activities that we normally would have, but we played games and cooked meals together. It was wonderful and we'll be back!

  We had a very nice stay right off the main street in Guerneville. The house was clean and very comfortable. The kitchen well stocked. A very comfortable hot tub and all of these walking distance to the restaurants and bars. We will definitely come back.

  We recently stayed at Foxwood in Monte Rio and it was perfect! Recently remodeled with everything we needed and two great outdoor seating areas. The house was super clean and the layout was totally perfect for two people who had to do some work during our trip. Can't wait to go back!

  The house was nice and big and decorated very cute. Loved the quiet street we were on. My only issue was the sofa bed that we had to use due to how many people we had and it was not comfortable at all. All the other rooms and beds were fine though.

  Absolutely amazing stay and cannot wait to go back! The place is even more beautiful in person than in the pictures. A few things we loved: 1. The house was sparkling clean and well decorated. 2. The kitchen was beyond well stocked. Everything you could need was there and more. Bring your groceries or have Whole Foods deliver and you never have to leave! 3. The whole house is hooked up to a Sonos sound system and you can play Spotify music with a touch of a button. 4. The garden is out of this world - plenty of fresh lettuce, chard, and winter greens. 5. The beds were comfy and there were plenty of pillows and extra blankets. A few minor tweaks on a basically perfect house: 1. The deck had splinters, could use a fresh seal. 2. Bring your own coffee ground or beans! 3. The bath towels were pretty starched and crisp and were uncomfortable. All in all, we will definitely be back. I cannot recommend this home enough!
