  We recently refinanced our home and sadly we were steered to Royal Pacific Funding. We are only three months in, and I am now kicking myself for not doing my homework. Making a simple mortgage payment is such a hassle with this company. Their website DOESN'T WORK even though it appears to be set up to allow you to make a mortgage payment and view payment history, but it is 100% non-functional! When you call to try to get the situation fixed, all they do is tell you "we don't service loans", and "your loan will be transferred soon". What a bunch of bologna! I have to resort to making our mortgage payments over the phone, but when I call, there is no automation that will accept our payment, nor do they bother to answer their phone to take a payment. I can only leave a message and hope that someone calls me back so I can make my payment. Any company with a shred of legitimacy would never operate in such a manner! I have never dealt with such amateurism from a mortgage company in any of the residential, or commercial loans we've had. I seriously think Royal Pacific Funding is now screwing with us because I complained last month to the broker who handled our refinance. We are either going to refinance our home again, or sell our home in order to get away from these people. Do yourself a favor, don't ever, EVER deal with Royal Pacific Funding no matter your situation. "Commitment. Experience. Partnership." is the Royal Pacific Funding mantra. Believe me, you'll find none of that with them. Find someone else for your loan, and do a bit of research. You'll be happier in the end.

  TERRIBLE customer service, as the other reviews stated. My father called to make a payment and the customer service representative was both rude and unhelpful. She asked for a piece of information, but her question's phrasing was confusing. My father asked for clarification, to which she responded "don't be rude." He wasn't being rude at all. He asked for her name at the end of the call and she said "I don't think that's relevant" and hung up on him. This service rep was way out of line but sadly I'm not surprised given the other reviews for this company. Do better, Royal Pacific. Your customers don't deserve to be abused by your customer service representatives.

  Please be aware this lender will send you Escrow deficiency notices telling you there’s a shortage on your account and then they raise your mortgage up to 20%. I’m fighting to keep my home. Royal Pacific miscalculated my escrow payment and raised my mortgage by over $400.00 There’s no way to reach anyone ever. I am speaking to an attorney to assist. If you get a letter telling you your payments are going to increase due to an escrow shortage contact a lawyer. They are scamming people out of their homes in order to foreclose on your home and keep your equity. A concerned home owner in Florida.

  Absolutely appalling customer service. Have been waiting on an escrow overage payment for five months. Every time I call I am told it’s “being escalated” and then nothing happens. Spend 30-45 mins on the phone every week looking for an update and there never is one. I was just told by a supervisor Michelle that this company “doesn’t have email addresses.” For sure, it’s 2022, makes sense to me. I pray for the day our mortgage is transferred to another company.

  The absolute worst!! Where do I start? 1.They were collecting money into my escrow account but failed to pay my property taxes on time. 2. They claimed my homeowners insurance didn't include hazardous insurance and threatened to charge me hundreds of dollars to add hazardous insurance, when my homeowners insurance policy already included hazardous insurance and much more. 3. Icing on the cake. The loan was paid in full (per the requested payoff amount) RPF claimed it was short by a few dollars and never applied the payoff amount to the balance. They never contacted me indicating that the payoff amount was short by their records. T hey then charged me charged me hundreds of dollars of additional interest and refused to correct the error.

  This is the WORST company I have ever dealt with. They made our home buying experience a nightmare and because of their unprofessionalism, cost us thoudands of dollars of extra storage and moving fees. We almost lost out on our house because the sellers were becoming very impatient with how long the process was taking. I am so thankfull that we will be refinancing very soon and getting away from these people. Everyone at this company should do this industry a favor and close down.

  Would go with a zero if it was possible. So many issues with this company starting with them never doing their job. They included my insurance payment as part of my mortgage, took the amount from me and never paid my insurance company. As a result my original insurance company cancelled my policy where I then needed to start from scratch with them along with a new inspection. My price went up hundreds of dollars (lost my bundled package) and was then told they could not insure me. I went with another insurance company in the end but cost quite a bit more and hours on the phone. Was told that Royal could not refund me either. I have now gone to another lender as this was not a fun journey. My loan has now funded and trying to take this loan off autopay is not an option on their site. Asked for them to take me off autopay as there is no loan amount remaining and was told they were unable to assist. so, contacted my bank directly for another $30 fee for a stop payment. These guys are incompetent to say the least. They are the gift that keeps on giving with bleeding money from me all due to them not doing their jobs in the first place. If any broker chooses this firm for you, demand another immediately to save yourself the grief. In the end, zero customer service and no apologies.

  Wow, stand clear of this company,... absolute worst loan service i have ever experience. Company took over my loan 2-1-21, increase the payment due to there own error. They are cashing all my payments, and not applying them to the loan. Made ontime payments 2-3, 2-18, 3-6, 4-8, 5-12, 6-6, 7-1, 8-3, 8-12, 8-30... and the only record of received payments are 4 out of 10..

  Bunch of rookies and liars that wasted my times with lying. Someone her name was Kai lied to us for two weeks that the loan conditions will be reviewed tomorrow, while the underwriter was mot at work at all, and then after two months they still didn’t complete and communicate the conditions. They have charged me for appraisal and didn’t communicate about the conditions after that. Finally I went with another company and everything got clear in around a month with a better rate and less cost. Their delays and lies cost us more than $10,000. It was a terrible disaster working with these rookies.
