  So I was referred to them by a good friend. He was thrilled with his process. Couldn't say enough good things. My process however is the complete opposite. Avoid Ross Mortgage and avoid Dean. Seriously. He is supposed to be the branch manager but this being my first home I HAD TO ASK him about different mortgage options. His processor is not very efficient, she supposedly has 20 years experience but will forget to ask you for different documents along the way, dragging things out even more. When you call her out on it she acts as though it's your fault. Dean will come to her rescue and tell you she's the best and how wonderful she is and how hard they are working. That's a lie, she held onto to my papers for about a week, before doing anything with them. I'm sure they'll insist it's my fault again or say she's just so busy. I sincerely doubt it. Also Dean will not answer phone calls or emails from your agent. If you decide to go with them BE WARNED. If I didn't know any better I'd think this was their first mortgage. Unbelievably horrible first time home buying experience. THANKS GUYS! NEVER WILL I BE BACK OR MAKE ANY REFERRALS. This place is a joke. Go somewhere else, save yourself the hassle! Saving a 'few' percentage points is not worth it. Had it not been so far into the process I'd take my business elsewhere!

  Most competitive low interest rate and low closing cost in town great with jumbo conventional veteran and first time home buyers too not only has Dean closed my loan but loans for many of my customers very honest and efficient. He picks up his phone 7 days a week.

  Poorly managed, disorganized and unprofessional. They messed up my paperwork several times, and even though they apologized, I was extremely frustrated as it delayed the purchase process several months and I almost lost the house. Luckily, I know the owner and they were very patient and understood so they waited for things to get straightened out. After all of that mess and waiting about 8 months (yes, really) and having to repull my credit a few times, they said that they found out the current owner was renting the property and therefore denied (after they already approved me) my mortgage saying they assumed I was going to keep renting the property out to the same renters. I was shocked and told them this wasn't the case and they never responded to my calls or emails! If this doesn't make sense, it's because I'm very confused myself. This was my first mortgage and was going to be my first home and they dragged me through hell. I will never ever recommend this company to anyone. Save yourself the trouble and go with a company who knows what they are doing. Good luck!
