Rocky Mountain Bank & Trust Reviews
I
Ian Soderquist1EDIT: Thank you so much for the response. That is very good business practice! Very sad that the bank treated me how they did. As a local guide, I feel as I need to review the places I go, both positive and negative. Alexandria still works here as a manager, as she was mentioned in a review in the thread. I came here today as I knew that they have a coin counter for members, so I was there to join then. My purpose was to also purchase quarters ($500 box) and I stated that to the teller. She referred me to Alexandria to open my account, and we did so accordingly, telling her the main purpose of my account being opened "To buy and exchange coinage, as I am a collector." They had no issue with the account being opened, so they continued and I deposited $100 to start. I then proceed to the counter to the older lady teller that helped my previously and stated that I would now like to purchase the $500 box of quarters, so I hand her $400 cash and say to use the $100 deposited as well to complete the transaction. She got confused with me, so I stated that again. Alexandria stated to me that there was no minimum limit or fee for dropping the balance below any amount, so that was self explanatory. The teller told me that using the money would close the account, so I handed her a $1 bill and told her to keep that as an active balance. She referred me back to Alexandria, as she refused the deposit. Alexandria then began to speak to me in a very unprofessional tone and told me that she would hand me back my $100 account opening deposit if I "will not use the account for bank business." which, indeed, I would still use the account now and then, which I stated. I then asked "How would you like to proceed then, because I stated from the beginning why I was opening an account." She handed back the $101 in total I gave the bank teller and ushered me out of the bank. This is the worst treatment that I have ever gotten from a financial institution. This can both be seen as a review and a complaint to the bank. I'm not a Karen, but I hope that the mgmt team sees this and fixes their issues.
Response from the ownerWe are very sorry to hear about your recent experience at Rocky Mountain Bank & Trust. 2020 has seen a major coin shortage across the country and we feel this may have caused some confusion in wanting all coins (quarters) back during your recent transaction. We strive to provide good customer service and apologize for the misunderstanding regarding the account features; additional training with staff will be completed. We wish you well in your coin collecting endeavor.

Danny Sunday5As a small business owner, I would highly recommend Rocky Mountain Bank and Trust! They went out of their way to assist us with a PPP loan, and got it done super fast. Scott was very informative and helpful concerning the loan and Alexandra is the best when it comes to customer service. She even took the time to come to our business and help us with getting our accounts switched over. We have found our new bank. Thank you RMBT! Fast Copies LLC
Response from the ownerThank you Danny!

Tiffany R1There was a misunderstanding on my part about third party checks. It spiraled into the manger, Alexandria and the supervisor, Joan mistreating me. Joan threatened me, refused to give me her boss's name and number, and she blocked me in the room by standing in front of the door when I said I was leaving. Joan is very unprofessional, rude, and condescending. I've banked at Rocky Mountain for 12 years. Ive never been treated so bad by a financial institution. However after how I was treated, I refuse to stay. Such lack of respect for me as a customer and as a human being. I left in tears. I'd stay clear of this bank. Find a bank where your are valued and important.
