  Absolutely gorgeous, so peaceful and relaxing. Owners are very hospitable. Vast areas to explore along the river, hiking and fishing, or you can listen to the chorus of the frogs 🐸 and toads by the ponds. Simply delightful experience!

  It was a nice location. The food menu though was overpriced and underwhelming.

  Thank you for the feedback . Our food cost is up almost 40% , Lp gas 30%, electricity 30% and availability of many food items are sometimes limited or unavailable thus our menu design and food costs . Thanks for stopping by .

  Food, service and atmosphere were great! Nice dining room, but the deck was great with the water down below. Even on a scorching hot day it felt great, with plenty fans going.

  First class all the way and one of the best winery experiences we've had. Owners and staff are extremely friendly and willing to do anything to make your visit good. We stayed on-site and the room was immaculate and well-provisioned. The location has plenty to offer with the beautiful river, fireplace, hot tub, etc. plus it is well-located to allow exploration of the area, where other attractions and wineries abound. Looking forward to our next visit already.

  This is one of those places in NC that just shines. Beautiful setting on the roaring river. Great wine, beer and food. They have overnite RV sites and vacation rentals as well. The owners, Tom and Josephine and their incredible staff are all so nice. It was a perfect overnite stay in the Yadkin Valley wine region!

  We are fairly regular customers at Roaring River and one of their wine club members. My wife and I have been coming for 4 years now and have met Tom and Josephine (owners) and talked with them many times. Every time we come to the winery, we are met with engaging hosts and wonderful service. Tom and Josephine go well out of their way to make us feel welcome-like family- and we have even been given a tour of their property when our teenage daughters visited with us. They are wonderfully welcoming and truly a joy to be around! Their wine is fantastic, as you can read about through their many accolades and awards. Tom and Josephine are not from this area originally, though their winery will make you feel like you’ve “come home.” You do not want to miss coming to Roaring River vineyard!

  Beautiful tasting room with stone fireplace. Nice balcony overlooking the creek. Decent wine selection. Craft beer available. We tried 2 sandwiches which were good, but portions small. Easy access from highway 21, near Stone Mountain park. This place is definitely worth a return visit.

  This place is fabulous! My husband and I met Tom this past weekend at the Yadkin Valley Wine Festival. When he told us about the restaurant, we decided to have lunch there on Sunday. It was delicious! Chef Josephine has created a wonderful menu of delicious appetizers, salads, sandwiches, and desserts. They all have a little bit of a french influence. Our server was wonderful (I wish I could remember her name), and the setting was divine. I met a new LOVE. Yes, I did. It is their Viognier wine - Oh, my goodness, it is unbelievably good. When I die, I want to have a glass of this(or several) as part of my last meal. We also looked at the rest of the property and cabins, as our daughter is interested in an intimate mountain setting for her wedding. I will be so happy if she chooses this top-notch vineyard. Thank you, Tom and Josephine, for the wonderful experience!
