Riverside Bank Reviews

Ryan Colbrese1Very dissatisfied. It's a convenient location for me that's all. Multiple times my checking account numbers don't add up even when I don't write a check for 2 months. When asking for an explanation from the personal banker she simply asked if I keep detailed records of my account balance and provided no reason for the discrepancy. They just look at me saying nothing after my answer of "yes." I ordered checks from the personal banker and they never came. Waited and eventually went in to speak with the same lady to get the same response "they've been ordered." Waited another month to get no checks. Eventually I went to the bank manager who told me they were never ordered. Recently attempted to set up a auto pay and was told it was set and didn't need to do anything else. My bills accumulated as it hadn't been set up. Went in to sit down with the lady who set it up and she walked me through what needed to be done on the computer. I was told the bill was paid now and the auto payment now was set. Called the company which was supposed to have gotten the payment and it wasn't paid despite the banker telling me it was. Had to go back again and cancel the auto payment with the bank. Starting to think these women are purposely doing these things to me and considering taking my money elsewhere.

Eileen Marie2Really disappointed. Calls routed to wintrust bank. Then holds are excessive. Transferring funds should NEVER be this complicated! No personal bankers available. No phone assistance. Every call is on hold extended periods of time. This used to be a very nice bank. No more.

Adele Blum1horrible customer service. All calls are routed through a Wintrust call center, and NO ONE knows what they are doing. Dropped calls, long phone calls just to get something very easy done, no one calls back. Your website is also horrible. My mom has several accounts with this bank, but they're going to be moved elsewhere
