  Jennifer made the home equity process very simple from the start to completion. She was there for us to answer all of our questions and put us as ease throughout the process. The process was simple, quick, and painless. The whole thing was done in just a couple of days. I'd highly recommend both Jennifer and First American Back to those in the Chicagoland area looking for local financing solutions.

  I am not one to leave reviews that is until now. I have never found any thing that really impressed me beyond somebody doing his/her job and not much more. I was recommended to First American Bank by a friend but expected the normal friends over rated rating because friends never want to look bad. This is where I was introduced to Jennifer Kossman and she advised me of the interest and the rates. Now I have been shopping for a refi. for about 9 months and never expected a Bank to be able to beat the guys that handle hundreds if not thousands of mortgages a year. AKA Quicken loans and all their sub companies. Well Jennifer answered all my questions and didn't treat me as window shopper so to speak. When she told me their rates and closing costs but these were a solid 50% less than everyone I looked at in the last 9 months. I am not one to believe it until I see it on paper and the process started. I fully expected the numbers to double and excuses made just like every one I dealt with. Well Jennifer did not try to low ball me or tell me any tall tails. Instead she worked with me from the very first step until my closing yesterday. I went from a 30 year down to a 15 year and knocked 1.5% off my existing loan. I expected even if the prices were lower it would be a long process to which rates change and all the totals would sky rocket. Jennifer had a appraiser out in about a week and the cost was about 25% cheaper than the cheapest one I could find. With my appraisal done and all Jennifer's paper work completed in record time I had a closing date in less than 2 weeks. The entire process only took about a month and with holidays I thought that was finally something she could not possibly keep to. To my amazement no dates were pushed back and everything was done like clock work as if she had a whole team just working on my mortgage. I found that Jennifer is an seasoned loan officer and she tells you straight up and doesn't have to get answers from anyone to get back to me. She went through everything number by number and I could not find anything wrong or needed to be changed except for one thing which I thought to myself after waiting for the bomb to drop she told me that over the weekend the interest rate changed and I was expecting here it comes, The interest rate moved a 1/4 and it was to my favor. I will say that after many mortgages and refis. it was truly a pleasure to work with a stand up/ honest person. Now days they are hard to find and those you do find are looking for themselves rather than the customer. All in all First American Bank saved me over $7500.00 and in a timely manner is a understatement by far. I will be recommending First American and Jennifer to any one I know in need of a mortgage. I thank you and my family thanks you Jennifer. Now my 2 sons can stay in college for a bit longer. If it's "To Good to Believe" it has to be First American bank. By the way I almost forgot, I did all this without buying a bunch of extra points like everyone else were trying to stick me with. Thanks again, Mike Dixon.
