  I'm changing my review and updating the rating to 5-stars after I had the pleasure of working with Elizabeth Willhite. She stepped into my car loan and knocked it out of the park. She was so personable and easy to communicate with, and I was happy to close my loan with her. I am very impressed at the way she does business. Anyone looking for a great deal on a car loan in this town should apply with Rivertown Federal Credit Union and make sure to ask for Elizabeth!

  This credit union has changed so much in the past few years, ever since they came under new leadership. The former leadership, Meredith, was terrible and honestly an evil lady, I don't know how many times I almost canceled my accounts and refused to do business with them. But now, I love this credit union and all the staff. It's amazing the turnaround they've had. I'm glad I kept my account and plan on keeping it for years to come.

  I’ve been banking at Rivertown for about 10 years. They are great at treating their customers like family. It’s nice to do business where they know you by name. Ease of doing business with is second to none. I have a personal and business account there. They recently accommodated an auto loan for me online, and it was completed in full in less than 24 hours. Their entire team is awesome, keep up the good work!

  Generally love banking with Credit Unions way more than banks. This Credit Union charged me $10 to put money in to my account without even telling me. Worst credit union experience I ever had!!!

  Hi Neal! I am sorry you are dissatisfied with your experience! You were charged a "wire-in" fee for the wire transfer you received. This is standard practice at all credit unions and banks, as we also pay the fee for wires sent to us. We do not charge fees for ordinary ach or direct deposits, or for deposits made by cash or check.

  I was banking with River Town back when they were Sparks FCU. I bought my first vehicle through them and have stayed with them the entire time due to the excellent service and friendly people. They have great clubs to help you save like vacation and Christmas club. Loans are super easy too. Highly recommend.

  I enjoy doing business with River Town FCU, the staff is always friendly, helpful when handling my transactions. They've always done a great job in my finance needs. I definitely recommend them if your looking for local place to do business with.

  My name is Terry Grizzle and my son set up this account. I have been with River Town Credit Union for many years I feel like family there my first ones are always call to get an application for a new purchase and they always try to beat the interest-rate of others. And get income taxes done thought a private person that uses their building for our customers convenience.

  I love this place. Place like this are hard to find. An independent place of banking. They are super friendly. They know who I am before I get to the window or in the door. They Are easy to work with for loans and such and they have very good rates for car loans and other lines of credit as well as competitive rates for savings.
