  RGS Title was exceptionally helpful and professional, throughout my experience with them. They had ready answers to several questions I had, as a home seller. On settlement day, their Covid related protocols were well thought out and made the process worry free. Kudos for finding ways to provide an excellent service, in spite of challenging circumstances.

  As a real estate agent in the Alexandria VA area, I have had a wide variety of experiences with title companies over the years and without question, RGS Title is one of the few companies I can count on to get it right every time. I have had a number of settlements that ended up being fairly complicated for one reason or another and RGS was always able to get everything straight. I trust them to do an excellent job every single time.

  12 Days since we signed closing paper work and 4 days since actual closing and we still have not received our net proceeds from selling our house! When trying to address the issue with the wire transfer the Settlement Processor was complexity rude to my wife and our invesetment firm support staff. Additionally, the title survey crew left large nails in the lawn in the middle of the backyard that extend 1-2 inches above the ground. The crew took 4 days to remove the nails even after expressing the safety risk to children playing in the yard. The crew also damaged the lawn in two spots. I am not rating them a one star since they did help us with closing on our new house. However, the lack of good communication, not attempting to transfer funds on the closing date and taking no responsibility in the wire transfer issue causes me not to recommend RGS title to anyone.

  As a Mortgage Loan Originator in the area my team and I have the opportunity to work with numerous title companies throughout the year. I can confidently say that the folks at RGS Alexandria never fail to knock each and every transaction out of the park.   I have bought and sold dozens of pieces of property across the Country, and this is the absolute worst Title company I ever encountered. The purchaser of my mother's condo in Cameron station used them, and I would advise you to stay away. They were so bad as almost being on the verge of negligent.
