  We definitely enjoyed working with"Team Pond". I am big on communication and they are great at providing status updates. Throughout our process we could call text or email and always recieved feedback in a timely manner. Their loan portal is informative and easily to navigate. The homebuying process can be stressful but "Team Pond" exhibited both knowledge and know how with the processing of our VA loan. There was no unnecessary or repeat request for documents.   We worked with Steve Lewis, and he and his team (shout out to April!!) worked tirelessly for us. During the process, we experienced multiple issues (not related to Cornerstone), and ended up having to close on a house in just over two weeks. Not only did we close on time, but Steve and April did a great job of keeping us informed, pushing things through, coordinating with others involved, and anything else necessary and in their power to make sure we were able to be in our new home. We have worked with other lenders in the past, and while our experience with them was good, Steve and his team definitely went the extra mile (and then some) on our behalf. Highly recommend!

  IF YOU VALUE YOUR GOOD CREDIT BE WARY OF USING THIS COMPANY. The refinance closing process wasn't bad, had the normal hiccups but nothing too serious. After they get your loan is where the trouble begins. Their online payment system is like something from the 90's and won't let you pay your mortgage anything but the exact due date or later. AND THEY WILL CANCEL YOUR MORTGAGE PAYMENT DRAFTS WITHOUT NOTIFYING YOU AND THEN TAKE DAYS TO RETURN EMAILS.
