So Magnolia1Never ever thought I'd leave a bad review for a Regions Bank, but this place breaks the mold. The layout is dreadful. Not sure what they were going for, but if I wanted to bank at a beach bar, I would. Stools rather than chairs , high laminate counters. No noise control, and absolutely no privacy. The whole time we were banking, we had to overspeak the man at the next station - just inches away. Hey, Regions- an 18“acrylic divider isn't soundproof, no matter how trendy the graphic is. All of that could be coped with if the staff were engaged and competent. Not much of either. We encountered not-so-subtle homophobia and ageism, topped off with a good dose of incompetence. The teller was completely untrained on recognising International and US INS forms of identification (Wow - a passport. Scary) . She spoke to us like we were just days away from drooling on ourselves, and made - without our consent - a life changing error that now another branch is trying to repair. When confronted with our experience, the branch mgr tried explain it away by suggesting that I don't know homophobia when I hear it. After fifty plus years of hearing it . Indeed. If this is the new Regions, I'm out. Edit : Just returned a call from the branch manager who couldn't be bothered to respond before she went on vacation. No resolution, just more of the same... once she figured out who I was, that is. Thought Regions was a last bastion of great customer service. Turns out they'd rather defend incompetent twits and their broken processes. Gutted that I just convinced a family member to switch to Regions. LGBTQ beware Like I said, I'm out.

Thomas Harblin2Staff is good but fees are nonstop. Had pay pal send in 40 cents to test the account and withdrew 27 cents in preparation for a large transfer of course regions NEVER misses and opportunity for a new fee with a new name. $36 dollars taken in the name of " early withdrawal fee". Move everything you have to credit unions . Regions will destroy your financial safety with fees you never dreamed of. I think receiving a wire was $45. Never ends escape while you can.

Bobby G1Regions Bank is targeting Republican account holders... It starts with a call from the fraud department... Unless you notice that they pretend your card off before the fraud department calls... And then they close your account when you complain. You may consider yourself warned.
