Regions Bank Reviews

Kasie Releford1Where do I start... I went to the atm to make a deposit I put my card in and the whole atm crashes, this is the second time that this has happened, the first time it took my card and my cash. I go into the branch they can’t do anything I asked them not to cancel my card until I got another because I have payments to make he still cancels it. They say they can’t print one and that I would have to go to Chalmette or Kenner to get a replacement but they were closing in 2 mins. Another card would take 3-5 days like I have that kind of time. Now I have to get another card and then update everything my card is associated with again I’m so frustrated I definitely have to get another card because a storm is coming and I have to get access to my funds it may be time to switch banks now...

Charity Shed1Every time I come to this bank there are extremely long wait times whether you go in the drive through line or inside. This place is either poorly managed or needs more tellers. I also have an account at capital one and even when they’re short staffed the wait is never this long. I believe the only reason this place has customers is because they don’t have many regions locations in this area and NONE in New Orleans east! My employer uses regions and that is the only reason I keep this account open.
Response from the ownerOur apologies for your extended wait time when visiting this location, Charity. We've made sure to have this matter documented. We're happy to help if you ever need further assistance. Please send us an email to [email protected] if we can further assist you in any way.

Clarence Fontenot Jr1Opened an account with a $4500 and added $1300 deposit on top of that and could not have access to the monies until 2 1/2 weeks later. Wow what a problem. Used this bank to open the account because I have accounts at other banks. Should have stuck with one of my other accounts. I guess trying something new isn't always good. The staff isn't a very talented cast either. WOW SMDH 🙉👎🏿🤷🏾♂️

john burris3I'm a new customer been here less than two weeks and their deposit atm stole 700 dollars from me that I needed for dental work cause I'm in agonizing pain, the appointment has had to be delayed. Now I'm getting the run around waiting on the next time they are going to check the atm to see if there's more money in ther than there should be? Terrible experience. I'll update this review if they get it together but as of right now I'm looking into contacting the attorney general and a few other things. Nothing like banks stealing your money and when you bring it up them dodging the iI'mssue. As of right now with this unresolved issue all I can say is stay as far away as possible. Update: money appears to be in my account as told. Shakey start to a relationship tho.

Joshua Chiasson1Drive through is nice, but the tellers inside are terrible. Snapped at for wearing "sunglasses." They were Transitions. Tried to explain and was told that I needed to go outside until they went back to clear. Obviously this woman has no idea how Transitions glasses work. Have been snapped at for a baseball cap before which is understandable if I wasn't in a lobby filled with people wearing caps that received no warning/attitude. Even when I've walked in without my glasses and no cap I have received eyerolls. And this is the place that I'm bringing my money to deposit... go figure. I was spoiled with the French Quarter location, I guess. They were the best and I never once experienced a problem with them. One of the regrets of moving.

david gamble1The people are so rude. Update: I got so fed up with this place and their lack of competence that I opened up a Chase account down the street and it was the best move I’ve made. I kept money because I like most Regions and their amount of banks, but I won’t use this one again.

Jamar Richardson1So I went in Tuesday last week on Sep. 22th too withdraw money my god father sent me however the banker looked at my account and asked me who the the person was that funds name was in and I told her my uncle said he was sending me money but never mentioned it was his wife's unemployment payments so the banker froze my account cause she thinks I'm committing fraud and said I would need my god mother too be there too get the money when I never had any issues before however she had a nasty attitude I will be sure too have her job once I clear this up SMFH

Franz Kafka1Long waits. Poorly organized branch run as if nobody is in charge. Tellers act like they work in a wig shop. Sub-Walmart level service. Get ready to waste time here, mornings are the worst.

Emily Keller1The customer service is very poor, bad communication. Told on thing in the branch another thing at telephone banking, the tellers are not well versed in answering questions about banking. I was told I needed to fill out a fraud affidavit over the phone and showed upto the branch to do so, and they had no idea what I was talking about.
