Regions Bank Reviews

janet carmenatty1This bank is no help if I can give them a 0 I would but I can't. I decided to go to the ATM to go ahead and deposit my money. The ATM literally ate my cash. I waited 30 minutes and got to work late until the bank opened to see if they can help make sure I can get my money back. The first girl that assisted me her name is Bree Rappa she was very informative but but wasn't able to help me much. She told me that she can try to talk to her manager to see if they can expedite the process but I had to wait two hours until the manager gets out of their meeting. Now, working on corporate myself we all know that there will always be customer concerns and a manager has to get involved. But, they refused to ask their manager to try to come out of their office real quick to assist me. I was not roudy or disrespectful but I was upset that my hard earned money that I needed was taken from me by their ATM so I asked them that working for a corporate business usually managers get out of what their doing to assist if their employees can’t help. So now here comes Karen. J Castiello being a “KAREN” and starts getting loud with me in the branch telling me that if I have any intentions of being loud that their going to kick me out. Meanwhile I was talking to the very nice teller not her when she she just decides to get in the conversation and get confrontational with me. I by all means was not disrespectful I was just asking them as to how they handle their upset customers. But, "KAREN" decides to assume that I was intending to get roudy but I really was not. She is rude and definitely not professional at all ( these employees have NO EMPATHY for their customers whatsoever) and she told me that I will have to wait and that the manager will not assist me. I mean why would I have to wait for “MY” money to get credited to my account and y’all can handle your own issues with your ATM company. The teller that I was trying to talk to was nice but the way they handle their business and how Kaylynn Price (manager refuses to come out to assist me) remember I’m in sales and I work for a corporate business too we all know customers can be difficult but when you have a customer who is trying to be patient and asking for other ways to get their issues resolved and their not getting anywhere now you wonder why customers can get upset when they feel like they aren’t getting anywhere. I immediately called regions bank and even the customer care over the phone is way better at giving me reassurance than these branch employees. Please don’t go here stay away and don’t use their ATM. Their customer care is HORRENDOUS!!!!!!!!!

Lana Lazar1Went into the bank, which was empty of customers other than myself. Three workers were there not doing anything and when I requested to complete a wire transfer, the workers flat out refused and said we’d have to return the next day because they were “too busy”. The epitome of laziness.

Adriana Mendoza1DISPLEASED. I went through the drive through Friday and deposited check, I didn’t get a receipt for my transaction & they never sent back my ID AND MY BANK CARD. These people weren’t even courteous enough to call THEIR CUSTOMER back before their branch closes for the day AND WEEKEND, to help ease the situation. Being that driving without a license is illegal and I need my bank card. Tighten up. This branch has SO MANY bad reviews, how is that even possible? This isn’t my first incident where they messed up something for me. Recurrent mistakes is RAISING HUGE RED FLAGS AND IT FALLS OK THE EMPLOYEES!!!!! Time for new training??? You’re making this branch look HORRIBLE.

Mandy Bl1My father-in-law suggested we use Regions for some equity lines on 2 properties we owned several years ago. I had to follow up with the banker at the time, Greg, repeatedly to get the deal done. He would disappear and then not call when he said he would. We paid off one of the equity lines months ago but continue to get statements for $0. My father-in-law mentioned he got our payoff letter that we paid off 1 equity line. I have no clue why as he was never associated with the account and I find it a huge privacy concern our mail went to him. I called and was on hold for over 20 minutes to see about closing the account. I sent an email because I don't have time to sit here and wait all day and never heard back. I'm not surprised. So I went into the office, taking time off of work to deal with this once and for all, I spoke to Delia and since the one equity line was in my husband's name only, she called him to confirm and then said she would email the form for him to sign to close the equity line. It's been over a week and she still hasn't sent the form or even bothered to respond to any of our emails about it. The other thing was we were interested in buying another property, since we had other accounts with Regions, I followed up with Sue Finsterer repeatedly for about a month but she never bothered to pre-qualify us (we have 800+ credit scores) and then finally we went with another bank. I would never consider using Regions again. I hope we can close this account and have nothing else to do with them.

Donald Tanner1Watch your account before leaving the bank! Bank teller deposited my paycheck into someone else's account and I didn't catch it until I got home. Of course there's nothing corporate can do and the bank is closed on Saturday's so I get to wait all weekend for my money! Thanks Regions! Happy Friday to you too!

EO Dude1I won't be doing business with Regions again. I came to Regions for a Construction Loan. They strung me along for 5 months, saying they could do a lot and construction loan. Then, changed their mind. It was actually a mistake, but no one would admit they did anything wrong, or apologize. They wasted my time and duped me. Sue Finsterer was nice, and I even had to talk to her manager Ron Rawson, but they never could admit they messed up bigtime. I have perfect credit score, and it was a large loan - so clearly even great clients don't mean anything to them. I'd hate to see how they treat people with lesser qualifications.

Victoria Bradley1How is any working adult with a 9 to 5 job supposed to get in there and bank with hours like these? No Saturdays, 9 to 4 almost every other day of the week. Completely unrealistic. They obviously put customer service at the bottom of their list of priorities, and giving themselves sweet, cushy hours at the top.

Sanjay Reddy5I have been banking with this branch for 15years, from mortgage to equity line to business loan to routine day to day checking matters- and I have been consistently pleased with their courteous and professional manner each and every time I needed anything at all.

Dan Standingbeat1Horrible bank, they are in the fee charging business for sure. Worse about it than Bank of America and I didn't think that was possible. They never show an accurate balance, so be prepared to keep track of that yourself. All of their online banking tools are a joke.

Jocelyn1This branch is fine -- the staff are helpful and nice people. But the bank itself is 20 years behind the times in terms of technology.
