  Jon and his team were AMAZING to work with!! So easy since everything was online and phone friendly to upload. Jon was just a call away for any questions I had and was amazing to work with along side my realtor.   When we entered the housing market this past December as first time homebuyers, we were at the mercy of an extreme seller’s market with little time to shop for lenders, rates, and other service providers. We took a leap of faith and trusted our agent who placed us in the incredibly capable and savvy hands of Jon Smith at Guaranteed Rate Affinity. I can’t say enough about Jon and his team. They walked us through the entire process from pre-approval to closing, securing us a great interest rate and jumping through all the accompanying hurdles in less than 3 weeks over Xmas break! Jon and his team were entirely committed and extremely professional. Communication was seamless as Jon invariably picked up our frequent calls and patiently addressed our endless questions and feelings of uncertainty and doubt. Our home buying experience was extremely fast-paced and not at all a comfortable experience. But we really landed an all-star team between our agent and our lending advisor, Jon, and they really were life-savers that we were able to entirely depend on throughout the complex and expedited process. We will not go to anyone else for our next home-buying and lending requirements. Completely recommend.

  STAY CLEAR of this company! I will give more details at a later date I'm still dealing with depression and hurt from the incompetency from Jon Smith and his crew. We lost our dream house on the actual closing date. He strung my husband and I along until our actual closing date. We lost so much money because of this lender. All we got was a I'm sorry and we need more time. You have been warned.. I'll give more details at another date I'm coping with a ruined Christmas a packed up house no Christmas tree no Christmas decorations I have nothing empty cabinets empty closets boxes everywhere it's the most disappointing heartbreaking situation I've ever dealt with in my life this man had our files for a year and just couldn't get it right I'm devastated. I just received my letter of denial yesterday a complete month after my closing date. If we we were advised properly things would have been different. You just can't play with people lives and realize you can't close the deal the actual day of closing. We should of been advised this summer while communicating back and forth about our loan. Jon you were such a nice guy. I really believed in you I am so sorry on so many levels you couldn't get this done for us. I don't even know how to get my life back in order. Still living out of boxes and had such a pathetic Christmas. 2022 can't come soon enough. So I can move on and put this behind me.. we will never ever recover the money lost. Moving that money from my husband 401k was a instant loss of 30,000 in taxes right off the top. How do you recover from that! That's the stuff that makes people lose it. Thank God I have my faith!
