Regions Bank Reviews

KimGB4So far, I've been very pleased with Regions. An acquaintance referred me to them 3 years ago. Regions has been FAR BETTER than previous banks (the 2 worst "problem children" of all banks, in my experience: Fifth Third & Wells Fargo). Branch manager, Petal Bradley & other employees have been professional, pleasant & helpful. However, I don't like is that there are only 2 branches in Venice, (even though Venice is kind of small) & limited access to "old fashioned" ATM's that belong to Regions. Only problem encountered so far: when my account type was changed but the account name stayed the same as the old one. I suppose whatever I don't like has more to do with my hesitant ability to learn & adapt to doing almost everything electronically.

Heather Moon5I have been a customer for many years. The entire staff have always been extremely professional, helpful & knowledgeable. The branch manager, Petal has gone above & beyond in handling account situations that have come up because of my actions that I needed advice on. I cannot thank her enough for her understanding. Thank you so much :)

Brandy Iwanski1This bank is terrible. I have been banking with them for years now & every time I go into this bank there is another fee $36 applied to my account as if they hold one transaction back. Regions closed my account on the 18th of Oct. ( I thought it was a mistake when I got this letter) kept banking only to get a call on the 25th of October to say they closed my account . It seems the manager was out as normal & this is why it was still open for 7 days past the date on the letter . I spoke to a personal banker Carry whom was not professional at all @ The VENICE location got no were.Went home & called the 800 # I was told a fee would Not apply if a 45$ deposit was make before 8 o'clock from a manager Ladarrica . Called the next day, because I saw the fee on my account & well I got a whole different story from a manager Edneishia whom i spoke with on the 25th of Oct.. I live here Not just a summer home . It seems this bank only want your services if you a LOADED WITH CASH!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I would stay away from banking with Regions.REGION'S @ ONE POINT told me to go TO Bank of America. Try any were else, but Regions!!!!!!!

Ryshawnna Poole1(Im only giving ONE star because I have to, to write a review) I drove to the branch on my lunch because I was told what I needed couldn't be handled over the phone. I found this branch thinking that a transfer & pin change shouldn't take longer than 20 mins. WRONG! Apon arrival i was told to have a seat while the person finished making copies! The person that did help me initially walked right passed me in the lobby & stood in front of the teller as if he was looking for some thing to do- like i wasn't even sitting there. I was there over 45 mins, I was told that everything was handled. Only to get back to work & check my account & the transfer not to be completed. I had to search for the local branch's number only to be told that they needed a signature to do the transfer. I WAS THERE 45 MINUTES! No one told me or asked for a signature & I needed to call the 800 to complete a transfer, which i was already told couldn't be done over the phone! So not only was I late back to work, I still didn't get what i set out to do accomplished. I called the 800 number as directed & I was told i needed to step back into the Branch! At this point this is an absolute joke, needless to say Customer Service is not their strong point!!

Susie Cramer von Clausbruch1Went to this branch to get boxes of found and we were told that they do not support coin collectors only business. That's not right for that one bank not to accept our trade out when we have a large amount of money in this bank.
