  My experience with Mark Cooper should have 10 Stars.Supreme Mortgage Knowledge, excellent help every step of the way. Even when my credit report, had a real time mishap he knew how to maneuver. Very professional!! Helene his assistant was also very helpful, and the bank tellers the two Sandy’s are awesome. Thank you Mark, and your entire team.   Our experience with Mark Cooper was exceptional. He is very professional. He explained the entire mortgage process thoroughly as he walked us through each step and gave us sound advice. He is very knowledgeable and is a tremendous asset to Trustco Bank. I referred a friend and she felt the same way as they closed on their property. I also want to give a shoutout to Helene who processed our wire transfer. All the staff in the Venice Branch should be commended for their professional and friendly attitudes.

  My review would be too long to describe all of the positive experiences my husband and I have had working with Mark Cooper at TrustCo Bank in Venice FL. Mark was successful in securing a construction loan for us when other banks were unable. Our building plans were a new concept that required extensive review. Mark spent a great deal of time with us to understand our home construction design while other banks had been unable to see our vision and its future value. Mark went as far as the TrustCo home office to get final approval; he provided them with detailed information by phone and in writing. His extra effort and dedication made a difference. Our loan was approved, we built our dream home, (at a great rate!) and in the end, it’s design concept and current value far exceeds our expectations. Mark is 100% dedicated to his work and his clients. Even on his busiest day, (our unscheduled visits) Mark always greeted us with a smile and genuine interest in us as people first. He’s honest, forthright and trustworthy. A neighbor who also worked with Mark referred us to him and said ‘he’s a good guy, the guy you want’ to get a loan processed, and he was right. We’ve referred several people (including a mortgage broker who referred clients they couldn’t help) to him with complete confidence. The construction loan process was a breeze - bank inspections and payouts were simple and timely. It’s been over 3 years and it’s still a pleasure to see Mark. I highly recommend him to anyone looking for a mortgage.

  My husband Steve and I were recently referred to Mark Cooper at Trustco Bank by a realtor. We were interested in working locally for the pre-approval process and then for our future mortgage. We met with Mark twice, the second time bringing in all documents he required. He thoroughly explained how the pre-approval letter worked as well as all aspects of how their mortgages are set up. We left at 2:00pm on a Friday and were approved by Monday at 5:00 p.m. What a pleasure it was to work with him. He is knowledgeable, efficient, and personable.

  I met with Mark Cooper recently regarding a mortgage and it was probably the greatest banking experience I’ve had in my lifetime. At another Trustco Bank, closer to where our house is being built, the person I was dealing with there was a little lacking on communication skills unless it was something that person wanted/needed from me.

  I applied for a mortgage refi on an investment property. 5 months later, after diligently responding to all document requests, I have been informed that the loan deadline has expired, and I must pay a $1,000 late fee to continue. Absolutely the worst, most incompetent service I have encountered in 30 years of real estate experience.

  I had a great experience working with Mark Cooper of Trustco Bank. He was very experience and worked hard to make sure all of the time constraints I was under were met. I'm a retired Judicial Judge and have work with many investment officers, bank managers, loan officers over the years and I have seen whats out there. Mr. Cooper is a good person and it would be well worth your time to visit him if you need any type of banking services.

  I absolutely love Trustco Bank. Mark Cooper is so incredibly helpful and kind. I feel like it is a family visit when I go but even nicer. Seriously, I can't say enough about Mark ,the tellers and the bank. If you are considering a mortgage or just regular banking , I highly recommend this Bank.You won't be disappointed.
