  Staff at this location are nice as any other, but the bank practices itself are terrible. I applied for a first-lien heloc (i.e. currently no mortgage or lien-holders, I own the property outright) with a 830 credit score and they denied me despite being told I was in required parameters before applying. The reason I was told that I was denied is basically "the bank was protecting me from putting myself in financial trouble" ??? Funny, because I never needed a 3.5B federal TARP bailout. I didn't get a high credit score and own two homes outright by putting myself in financial risk. If it wasn't for the hard credit inquiry, I wouldn't be as upset, but after this i'm closing my deposit accounts asap. Why should I give them a free loan using my money when they won't get me a secured one?

  I banked here for years, always nice professional people. Tried to deposit my check yesterday and a new person Meagan in drive through who refused saying it was a business check. As I said I have been banking here for years depositing the same checks never had an issue. Not only did she refuse, she was very rude and acted like I was doing something wrong. She said I dont know you and I just called upstairs and they dont know you either. Inside was closed. So I tried to discuss incident with manager this morning and she was also of no help. I will not go back, it's a shame I have to go over the bridge to bank with professional people and there is a bank two blocks away. I called the 800 number but I'm sure it will not remedy anything.

  EXCELLENT! I am writing a review for the Ormond by the Sea Bank, Ormond Beach, Florida personally. I'm sorry for those who did not have a good experience. I have been with Regions for 3 years and they have helped me time and time again. Whether it's been stolen card, stopping checks, overtures, etc. They call if everything is resolved and keep track of theft! This is my favorite bank from 45 years of banking. I do occasionally go to different branches for whatever reason and have never had a bad experience

  Second time was refused to cash a western union transfer. I remembered only after that I went there 5 years ago and was told the same thing, our western union system is down, go next door??? Why bother wasting peoples' time if you cannot deliver? You need to drop this "service".

  We had just moved to Ormond Beach need to get $40 worth of small bills. the teller told me since I didn't have an account they couldn't give me change. I could understand if it was a huge amount of money but this is just plain telling me that they don't want my business will definitely go elsewhere and open a checking savings and investment accounts how stupid is stupid. They are a bank account or not you change your bills under $100 as a courtesy. I have been in banking 35 years and I've never heard of anything so rude and ridiculous

  MELINDA IS SO EMBARRASSING TO DEAL WITH. IF YOU ARE YOUNG & BLACK SHE TALKS REALLY LOUD & SLOW AS IF YOU ARE RETARDED. WITH HAND GESTURES. I KNOW THIS IS HER INSECURITY FOR BEING LESS DESIRABLE BUT IT IS SO UNPROFESSIONAL .She let the entire bank know my business. I hate loud talking peopleb bank info is supposed to be confidential... VERY CONDESCENDING! i enjoy the other regions bank near Granada very professional service. *i called the 800# & was told that i could do this online ...something melinda didnt give me this option

  It smells good inside the building. It smells like caramel corn. It spat my money out when it said "Do you want to spit your money out?". It gave my sister fan mail, but it gave me none.
