Ronak Tali5Very good experience at this Red Canoe Branch. Felt really welcome. What I really appreciate is the fast service and quick decisions not just at this branch but even on the phone. Products are far better priced than big banks and most of them have no or very little fees. I look forward to a long relationship.

L J5My husband and I, had a great experience opening our new accounts today at Red Canoe in Covington. Everyone was super friendly, helpful, and professional. Of course we are super excited to actually, stop getting fee-ed to death by Chase. We love to travel internationally and have been paying a 3% fee on every foreign transaction with our Chase Debit Card, including ATM withdrawals. Well not anymore more, we will be travel-ling with out Red Canoe Debit Card, which does not charge for International Conversion fees. Eventually we will be transferring our Chase Money Markets accounts as well. Albeit paid interest fees are low right now , but do the comparison. We are glad we did and will be earning more then double at Red Canoe.

B Weezy1Every time I have been to this new red canoe it has made me want to change credit unions.i can’t trust my money even going in the correct account and the teller short Filipino lady (sure you know the one)Has 20 questions about me putting money into an acct if you don’t like cash MAYBE YOU SHOULDNT BE A BANK WILL NEVER GO HERE AGAIN EVER TOTAL JOKE DO THEY TRAIN THESE PEOPLE????
Response from the ownerUnfortunately, the Federal Government does require that all financial institutions fill out standard forms when certain amounts of cash are deposited in the United States. We are sorry that you found this inconvenient, but we must do this to comply with the law. All our employees are committed to following the law and abiding by all federal regulations, and we fully support them in doing so and applaud our Covington teller for doing her job responsibly and thoroughly. We're sorry that you feel the need to bank elsewhere, but hope you understand that you will absolutely be required to follow federal regulations no matter where you choose to bank. Craig S Littlefield1I’m taking my money elsewhere to many problems too much B.S I needed to pay my bills and they only allowed $200 from my check which caused T mobile to charge late fee I’m locked out of my storage til I can pay I’m working but I’m homeless at this time and needed to go to hotel had to sleep in my car very humiliating I can understand a next day release of all funds in my account or at least give a $500 or half the total of the check this was not the first check I have deposited it’s from a successful well known car dealership in Renton and there was no problem with my first deposit now I’m hungry and need water sitting in my car waiting til Monday at 8: 30 am 5/8/19 not good

It is our policy - and the policy of most financial institutions - to hold back a portion of a large check deposit to verify the funds before releasing the full amount. This can take longer when a check is deposited using mobile deposit or ATM deposit because it must be reviewed. It sounds like you might benefit from setting up a direct deposit so that you can have more immediate access to your funds. You can call us at 800-562-5611 Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. or on Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. and we can help walk you through the process. Information for setting up a direct deposit is also available on our website. Unfortunately, when dealing with checks, you will run into situations like this no matter where you choose to bank.
