      Absolutely horrible bank. They will charge you for being broke, they will charge unlimited insufficient funds fees. Each time you call, they have an “upper” attitude in which they frown upon you for being “broke”. They only show mercy to the upper class who are able to support their operations.. they show absolutely no morals or mercy to their community members in need. This is very different from the old QCU, where they would genuinely care about their community members in need. As for fact, they do very little in the community as it is… TLDR; do not expect a community oriented banking institution here, expect a corporate style “local” bank who is only there for the rich members of society.

      Banking with them going on 11 years late 30 days past due twice due to covid situation and job loss. Was told my credit card is now deactivated for 6 months over $70 payment being past due I told them I had the money to pay them to turn the card on so I could get some groceries and was told no. Will not continue to bank with a company that will not help you out in a time of need when you have been a good customer for so long.

      Lost my wallet on the streets nearby Quincy Credit Union. One of the workers there kindly mailed the wallet back to me when I thought I had lost it for good. Thank you so much to Terrence for taking the time out of his day to do that, I really appreciate it.

      Outstanding customer service. Best retail banking experience I've ever encountered. QCU offers truly loyal & personal customer service that has been lost in the era of the Big Banking monopolies. I strongly advise anyone in the area to give them a try. 5 stars!

      Simply the best banking experience I've ever had. Over 58 years and countless banks. I cannot for the life of me understand how anyone can rate this bank with less than 5 stars, so I want to give me my assurances to those looking for reviews and feedback from "reasonable" consumers that on balance with all other local banks and national branches, this one exceeds our wishes and expectations. If looking for a different kind of bank, you have nothing to lose but to go in and ask all the questions you can think of. You'll be impressed. Specifics, you ask? How about a 6 digit Member Number you are given to use which connects you to ALL your accounts, as opposed to having to furnish your long account numbers for each transaction. The online banking site is complete and we'll designed, as well as an awesome mobile app. And then the convenient parking and multiple drive-through windows, and great people are extra bonuses. And who doesn't appreciate a change sorter located in lobby which doesn't deduct a fee. If I was forced to come up with a negative, the only one would be the policy against overdraft protection on checking acct transactions using the card only. It can be embarrassing at the grocery checkout, but once you get used to doing what you should be doing anyways - keeping track of our balances - you will be better off. I'm sure that saves money on customers taking a hike with a negative balance or complaining about fees that YOU caused. OK, enough said.

      Their chip cards fail constantly if used normally. Went to check in to get a new card for the 20th time and that system is bad also.Says it's not busy but line to the door. Just another bank making money for the rich.

Cards ordered directly from the processor tend to be more durable.       I do not recommend banking here. I contacted this location to acquire information about a mortgage and their communication skills were not satisfactory. The responses were slower than I needed, answers were brief, and I was emailed a link to their website’s homepage on one occasion when I specially asked to be directed to the mortgage information. The process was a more convoluted than I was willing to accept; I had to ask for access to the web portal and account info that was all supposed to be sent to me automatically. These were all red flags for me and makes me feel like this place is disorganized.

      After waiting on the phone for almost an hour (48 minutes and 53 seconds... Not keeping track) I was told by the operator, Latoya, the banks system is down. Why couldn't they have that noted in a pre recorded message? ALSO, WHY ARE WE FORCED, TO heat the pre-recorded message. People should be allowed to by-pass the droning and boring message, not have to hear it if we want to move on. HERE IS A GREAT IDEA... HOW ABOUT LIVE PROPLE INSTEAD OF RECORDED MESSAGES. VERY IMPERSONAL

      One of the women working at this location had the nastiest attitude. We just wanted to come in to ask a question and once she saw us, gave us the rudest comments and told one of us had to wait outside IN THE POURING RAIN. How RUDE. Then a caucasian couple comes in right afterwards and were not asked to wait outside. Of course they didn’t...
