  Customer service started out great and then took a major fall when the appraisal was incorrect and they don’t care. They will tell you different amounts for the cost of the appraisal as well. A company with this much success should be more customer friendly. This isn't the first time I had problems. Use a local mortgage broker and you will be much happier with the outcome.

  I'm not sure how this company is with refinances. If their rates seem to lure you into their lair so be it. But I'm pretty confident that you can easily match or beat their rate with a local Phoenix lender (local people, not just some office on Central. However, as a Realtor I'm telling you to think twice before you use Quicken to purchase a home. The people with whom you speak initially have not to do with the process and can't help you at all along the way. Once again, and never again, my sellers accepted an offer from a buyer using Quicken Loans. From their agent's perspective as well as the listing agent, this has been similar to working with molasses. "Rocket" is an oxymoron for a name. They are not response nor quick in any way or fashion. And the Senior Director who appears to be in charge/control certainly isn't. He simply put the blame on the "processing depatment. If you want to compete for a home in this market, one of the best arrows in your quiver is to be using a well respected LOCAL lender who is in the office next to the processor who is down the hall from the underwriter. Those lenders do exist, and they have rates every bit as low as Quicken. Buying a home should be a good experience. My recommendation is that you find a lender who will contribute to that.

  Staff are courteous and pleasant and try hard, but lack experience and knowledge to deal with more complex situations. As a real estate investor with an 800+ credit score, 7 figure net worth seeking a 40 LTV loan - 60% down payment! - I should have known better than to try to get a loan with Quicken. They wasted my time, cost me a $500 appraisal and told me they could not make the loan 2 days before closing!!! Then their social media police arm contacted me. Anyway, if you need a cookie cutter loan and your finances are simple, they are probably fine - otherwise look elsewhere.

  I was fortunate to work with David Lawrence from Quicken Loans in Arizona. I would recommend him to others because he made my refinance process seamless and it did not take long at all to complete. He was on point with his quote, which never has happened in my experience. He follows through and was very responsive to my inquiries all the way until the end! Quicken Loans is very lucky to have a dedicated employee!!! [email protected]

  My own experience with rocket mortgage went very well.If I needed help or had any questions they would get right back to me . It was done mostly by e mail or phone.

  I wish I could give a better review. Originally our rep was super attentive and helpful. I was able to text his business phone and got an answer back usually in the same day and if he was out, someone else would reach out to me....that was right up until we were ready to close. I spoke to him a few days before our closing and there was a discrepancy in our pay off that he had told me had been addressed. I reached out multiple times. Texts, calls. Never heard anything back. I even started calling the 1800 number and still could not get ahold of anyone. It was like as soon as our appraisal cleared and the rep had reached out to schedule our signing, quicken loans washed their hands of us. We had multiple important questions that were not answered and we just signed without getting clarification because we had already spent a month jumping through hoops. I'll admit we got a good interest rate, we paid very little in closing costs and for the most part we are happy. However, it is a bit disheartening, if these last interactions are any sort of indication of how this company plans to handle my mortgage.

  I received an email from this company saying they could save me money with a refinance. I went to the website, started the process. Received a call almost immediately trying to get more info and do a credit check. They were very clear that they would be able to save me money and lower my interest rate. They said they needed “30 minutes” to call me back. Didn’t receive a call for 4 days. Once I got them on the phone, they backtracked saying they could only lower my interest rate by 0.01% because of some law. And then after they told me numerous times they would be able to get rid of my mortgage insurance, they came back saying that there was no way they could do that. So all in all, they wanted me to refinance with them for literally no benefit to me. Don’t waste your time. They’re scammers.

  Started a refinance process with them during May. Sent in all my information and documents, I received my appraisal, and by June we were moving forward to closing. So i thought. It wasn’t until July 28, when Nicole Campana said my income wasn’t sufficient enough to complete this loan, after she already reviewed and approved it! We went all the way to title and they tell me my income can’t be proven for this loan. Worst experience and customer service!

  I was really hesistant to use Quicken Loans because the big name mortgage guys tend to be impersonal. However, I have found that Quicken was very attentive and organized about the process. They answered question immediately and always let me know where we were in the process. I had Justin Vacca and Kevin O'Connel on my mortgage and they provided complete guidance. The online Message Board and To-Do list makes life easy and at the end of the day you have a complete document list of everything organized for you. I didn't care for the Realtor choice they recommended, but beyond that it was an excellent and minimal stress process all the way through. If this ever changes I will update.
