PSCU is VERY NICE to me even though I have a checkered, jaded past with PSCU. They want me to do better in the near future and I appreciate that policy!!

      Response from the owner

Thanks for the kind words, we're happy to help!

Would not recommend this bank. I have had nothing but problems. My card was compromised and used without consent. It's been 3 weeks now and I still haven't seen my money. The lady told me her supervisor was in a meeting, she said she has a pile of work on her desk and that she will pile mine on top. Poor customer service. Slow process as well, statements won't show up for 5 days most of the time. Then they act like your a common nuisance when you ask them for help. Will be closing this account as soon as I get my money, if I do.

      Response from the owner

David, I'm sorry to hear this. We will have someone reach out to you today.

From the beginning Leslie and the Credit Union have done exactly as they promised. I have consolidated high interest credit card bills down to one! No more 24 plus % rates to 6.9 % for one year to 11.9%. That is substantial savings. I also refinanced my car to a lower % rate. It was quick and easy!

      Response from the owner

Thanks for the great review Russell!! We love helping our members save money!

I've been a loyal member with Pinnacle credit union for 12 YEARS before this company bought them out. At first, no big deal, they change the name. Then they switch us to a new online interface, ok, whatever. Then I try to transfer money over the phone: new, $5 charge. Oh, I moved, and haven't been able to change my address? New, $5 returned mail charge for correspondence I never requested be sent. Overall, the quality of service has taken a sharp turn for the worse. I'm closing my account out tomorrow and taking my banking to Farmer's and Merchant's. 0/5.

I'm so glad they're going under! I went in to cash a cashier's check drawn on this bank. Presented my driver's license and the signed check. Don't think their cashier's checks are guaranteed funds, which is the WHOLE PURPOSE of a cashier's check. No they charge their members for the check, then turn around and charge the person the check is to $8 to cash their "guaranteed funds" check. But before I could cash my check I had to give them my social security number. When I asked why they needed my social, they said it was to check it against a database of international terrorists. Really!? Cause international terrorists are trying to get social security? C'mon. You expect me to believe that there are "international" bad guys round the world who are hoping to retire on the US social security administration? I don't even think I"m going to get social security when I retire! Are these international bad guys SO BAD OFF that they are looking to get social security? The best part, now I'm a 5' 6" 40 year old father of 3 girls. And this 6' tall branch manager hears me from his office. Doug Greener was his name. Comes out and steps up on me like he's gonna forcefully remove me if I don't just shut up and do as I'm told, no questions asked. Besides the fact that a STATE ISSUED DRIVER"S LICENSE ISN'T ENOUGH to cash a check. Besides the threatening manner of the branch manager. Besides the blatant disregard for the Uniform Commercial Code which many banks are violating these days under the guise of national security. They could have been professional or at least kind about it. I am far from being an intimidating individual. But I am a THINKING individual. I don't blindly help erode the freedom our young men and women fight and die for because "It's my job." or "It's our policy". As a matter of fact I think these individuals disrespect the law, and common courtesy just to make an $8 fee. I certainly would not bank at any institution that thought guaranteed funds meant just another chance to gouge a hard working man or woman. Where I bank, if I write someone a check, they get all the money I intended for them to get. And I certainly would hope that the men and women I entrust my hard earned money to have more intelligence than to think a social security database is where you look for terrorists.
