  Excellent customer service! Friendly and expedient. I am always greeted with many smiles. Jose Alvarez has sat down with me and introduced me to a few products that were beneficial to me. He is very knowledgeable and passionate about his position there at the Morristown branch office on Ridgedale Avenue. Craig is a great customer service rep. He is always attentive and always makes sure all my needs are met at every visit. Gita is a friendly and efficient customer service rep. You can always count on her to give you her best. I am very impressed by the staff there at the Provident bank. It feels like family... It is always a pleasant time when I visit the branch. Thank you all for your awesomeness!!   My experience in Provident bank over was excellent. Started a new career path and the new manager Jose gave me great service and guidance on the different business accounts I can open. Will be sure to bring my business back to him!!

  Overall, my experience here was exceptional. Jose Alvarez is the embodiment of excellent customer service - personable, empathetic, and most importantly, a genuine care for the customers he serves. He answered all of my questions about account benefits/perks, fees, online banking, etc. and went above and beyond to ensure that I would start out on the right track. Five stars!

  This bank is very nice and really tires to put the customer needs first. Jose Alvarez is a very knowledgeable person. He was kind and a good listener. I highly recommend anyone to switch banks.

  Provident Bank Stinks! Full disclosure - this is not my bank. The reason why I stopped at the bank was I just took a job in the neighborhood and it is next door to us. That said, I simply went in to change a bunch of singles that I had to a larger bill. A simple request that I have never been refused at any bank, ever. And it's not as though the teller was nice about it, perhaps offering me the opportunity to find out what the bank had to offer. No, just plain nastiness, going to extremes to embarrass me. I also observed a drive up customer who put their transaction through the vacuum system and was then ignored while the teller dealt with lobby customers. I strongly recommend avoiding this branch. They are not welcoming at all.

  I love this branch. They welcome you right from the entrance and know you by your name. They make every transaction special. Best branch in Morristown!!!
