  Extremely satisfied in doing business with Joseph at ProStar Lending. We reached out to 4 businesses to refinance our home but they were either unresponsive, slow, or it was more costly. My friend recommended me to Joe. He was very patient and informative in explaining to us the entire process that goes through refinancing and he locked us in at a low rate.   Having been in the real estate industry for over 15 years, I have worked with many Mortgage Brokers. Some were for my own properties as in investor, and another variety as a Real Estate agent. When I first started working with Joseph, my immediate reaction was “I wish all my Mortgage Brokers were like you!” My criteria for choosing a professional is simple: 1. They know what they’re doing and know the ins and outs of their products 2. They are responsive and communicate well 3. They always act in the best interest of the client 4. They pay close attention to the timeline All real estate transactions revolve around the financing. No matter how great the other professionals on the team are, no money-no deal! What set Joseph apart from some of the others I have worked with was that he was always way ahead of the timeline. He would also take the time to explain to the client what to expect, what their options are and how it will affect them. This gave them the ability to make quality decisions and know the outcome of those decisions because they had the information they needed. An expert or a professional is someone who can take something complicated and make it simple, understandable, and non-intimidating. Joseph is a true professional, knows his stuff, communicates it well, and most importantly; closes on time! It is a joy to work with him.

  Because of COVID, the financing game has changed. Joe is definitely up to speed with everything and is knowledgeable, professional, prompt, and takes the time to break down the process. I usually only do business with banks because of the service, but this time I decided to take a chance and go with a broker.   Initially we were planning on refinancing our home with our current credit union; however, our mortgage originator was very hard to get a hold of and doesn’t call us back. Honestly, glad that he didn’t. Because my colleague referred Jo to us and we were so happy with his service. He updated us daily & answered our calls and emails. He explained to us about everything. We are saving over $700 with our refinance. My husband and I are so happy. Now we are keeping Jo as our mortgage broker for future mortgage loans. :D
