  From house hunting, to closing the team at Principle Home Mortgage was beyond helpful! As first time home buyers we had lots of questions, and Shane and his team was always happy to answer them. We ended up closing on our home just days before welcoming our 3rd child, and they where so helpful in keeping this process as stress free as possible. Would recommend them again and again!   Principal Home Mortgage was an absolute joy to work with! After several nightmarish experiences with other lending agencies, Katie and Shane were a breath of much needed fresh air. We appreciated there willingness to walk us through the underwriting process and answer any questions we had, even after closing was completed. There quick response time, open communication, and expertise in the industry are phenomenal. Katie and Shane both maintained patience and professionalism throughout our transaction, including the times we needed to bring our rough and tumble toddler along to sign paperwork.   Words can't even express how satisfied we are with Principle Home Mortgage and the expertise we experienced with them in financing our mortgage! My husband and I were referred to Shane Whitteker by our realtor when it was time to get financing for the purchase of our home, and we are ever so grateful for what he did for us, and in such a short amount of time! Shane and his assistant Katie worked diligently to get our loan closed in less than 45 days, even when we had some obstacles to get over. Shane communicated with us on a daily basis and kept us abreast of the underwriting process, step by step. He was patient and never hesitated to answer our many questions along the way.   Shane was extremely helpful and I cannot imagine having anyone else take care of our mortgage! This was our first home purchase, and it was 2 hours away from where we used to live so the entire process was extremely stressful for us. We looked at several houses and Shane took the time to review each one with us to discuss costs and risks associated with each home before considering an offer. Because my husband works days, he wasn't able to call Shane with me during normal business hours so Shane would allow us to call him in the evenings with 10,000 questions and he took the time to answer them all, patiently and clearly so we could fully understand what was going on. Shane also did a great job helping us in understanding the entire process from loan application, offer, negotiations, and final processing. Shane advocated for us and ensured that we were able to get a fair price and that all aspects of the sale were completed accurately, timely, and according to the law. Honestly, I know we will be purchasing another home someday and I will be calling Shane first!

  Principle went above and beyond. Bottom line. My husband and I were moving back to the area at the end of his military service and Shane did an amazing job of helping us secure our VA mortgage in that difficult time of transition when other lenders wouldn't even consider helping.
