  The 5 star rating on PRMI is NOT misleading! First off my wife and I are first time home buyers and I am self-employed (3 years). We were working with another lender until I felt that I was NOT a priority. I researched PRMI in Mount Juliet, read the reviews, and called. James McVey made our home purchasing experience smooth sailing and got us the best interest rate! Due to my busy schedule I found myself communicating with him after hours and he was always ready to help. He made us his priority and worked hard to get us the house we wanted! James is not a "clock-in/clock-out" type of guy...He's the real deal! That says a lot about his character and his family business. During this process James and his wife welcomed their second child into the world (congratulation again!) and he still kept the ball rolling. He called me from the hospital the day after his 2nd child was born to update me on some things...CRAZY! James took on all the challenges and worked hard to get us a new house! Oh and concerning the application process/platform...super easy and fast to fill out! Just get PRMI what they need and they do all the work for you!   We highly recommend Jim and Debi McVey and the Primary Residential Mortgage team to anyone needing home financing. Jim and Debi are extremely knowledgeable and meticulous in their follow through. They worked with my wife and I and helped us secure a loan in which the rate was lower than our current lender was offering on refinancing. I am also an independent contractor and it is sometimes challenging for a lender to understand the differences between my work and a person who has a regular salary position. Jim was not daunted by this at all and knew the appropriate information that was required. We sincerely appreciate their professionalism and feel that we would never have gotten the personal service and attention had we gone with our bank for refinancing.

Jim has always been helpful in many ways and he has guided us with multiple situations with not only our mortgage but other decisions with additions, building on our property and buying and selling. He’s always been more than the man who helps us with our mortgage but a real good friend.
