Yes 4 Excellence!5Prestige Subaru is an absolute YES for Excellence! Bought my first Subaru in 1985 from Prestige, have been a customer since and am now on my 11th Subaru from them. Family owned, and you are treated like family, not a stranger. The team in Service are the absolute best in the business! Service manager Rosemarie and Top Technician Dennis are by far, the most amazing client focused, understanding and talented - truly the best! I will not bring my cars anywhere else for service, and will not purchase my Subarus from any other dealership!

With the new covid protocols you just can't walk into the service department to make an appointment or speak with someone so they must rely on the phone and whenever I call I get bounced from place to place. I will continue to use Prestige because they do great work

Melinda Bingham5My husband and I visited Prestige Subaru one day this October with the hope of purchasing a new car. You never know until you're at the dealers whether or not you will feel comfortable enough to actually purchase a car at that location. Within minutes of walking in we felt very welcomed by Anthony and John, the first people we met there. They both had a wonderful way of balancing their professional demeanor and making you feel like a long lost friend they were thrilled to see. In fact, they were very funny and we did a lot of laughing. We also got a great deal on a beautiful new 2018 Forester. John was fantastic at making the process seamless and had the car ready the next day. I love my new car and the experience we had at Prestige. Anyone looking to purchase a Subaru need not look any further.

Vic P5This was my first car buying experience and all I can hope is that all of my future car buying experiences are as pain free as this one. I had previously test drove at other dealerships, where I felt like I was just being hassled and my desires for my new car were completely disregarded. I then went to Prestige Subaru in Pleasantville, NY and had the pleasure of working with Brain Drexel. He had a vehicle to fit all of my needs, worked with me to get what wasn’t included to be included, and he was responsive, helpful and truly caring. Within 3 days of entering the dealership I drove off in my new car!!! He has left me with high expectations of how car shopping should be!

michelle conway1I made appointment with this place for several recalls that were needed on my Subaru Impreza 2017 (4 in total) for Friday. On Monday or Tuesday of this week my entire dashboard lit up with 3 different lights - including the check engine, the traction control and the vehicle diagnostics. I called Prestige Service Department and said I have an appointment on Friday, but is there anyway you can see it earlier because of all these lights? Her response to me was "you can bring it in today but I can't promise I'll get to it today." Fine, that's a fine response. So I said, is there anyway that you can get me a loaner car until you fix it because this could be anywhere from 1-4 days. Her response was "We don't do loaner cars" in a nasty tone. So, I called Subaru's main number and got help from a supervisor. She attempted to call Prestige and ask about my appointment. After returning my phone call and saying that i didn't have an appointment for Friday even though I had a confirmation e-mail and had spoken to them that morning about my appointment. I check my e-mail and realize THEY CANCELLED MY APPOINTMENT! So I call them back and say I'm sorry, but why did you cancel this appointment? She didn't answer, but instead told me she couldn't see me until after the 21. It is the 14th when we're speaking. She then snaps at me that she'll honor my appointment on Friday. I said thank you, I'm trying to work with Subaru in order to get a loaner car for this week. Her response..."We don't do loaner cars here, you'd know that if you bought your car here." And that that is between me and Subaru. (Which I had just said) At this point, I'm frustrated, upset, annoyed. I talk to the lady from the main Subaru who says she had the same experience. That the lady was rude and unpleasant to her as well. So, I drop my car off Thursday night for Friday repair. Because the main lady from Subaru has been on top of everything at this point.. I get several phone calls and updates about my car. It is there to fix 4 recalls that is it. The woman from Prestige calls me and says your car needs an oil change, filter change, and oil flush and then the car needs to be driven then changed again and tire rotation. She then scolds me and asks me if I have ever had a oil change (I have) or the filter changed (Honestly, didn't know I had to so I didn't, my bad). The quote? $670 for both. WHAT? So I call my mechanic and say these are the things I need done, can you do them? He says of course. Estimate $100. When I call back and decline the service she gets mad at me and then snaps well I'm going to call Annette (the main lady from Subaru) to tell her about all this. When I pick up my car, they try to blame all the lights being lit up because of the oil not being changed.. which makes no sense. She also informs me that they're probably still lit. I asked are you sure it's not cause of the recalls you just fixed? She tells me no, absolutely not, it's because of the oil. I get in my car (oil still not changed) all lights are off, indicating it is because of the recalls. It takes a lot for me to write a review. I stray away from them for several reasons, but this whole experience was awful and horrendous. I ended up crying several times from the way I was spoken to and dealt with. I'm sorry for the back and forth, but it honestly made me really upset with Subaru in general. How she spoke to me and Annette is incredibly shocking to me and I tend to write it off as someone having a bad day, but it was several days in a row. It seems the service department needs some serious work and how to deal with people who are trusting them with their cars.

Deepthi Prakash1I took my new Subaru in for an oil change. Picked it up that evening and noticed as soon as I got home that there were grey splotches all over my hood and windshield. I called them right away and reported the issue. They didn't call me back. My husband then took the car in and they refused to acknowledge or do anything about the issue. Wouldn't even let us talk with the manager. Not to be trusted.

Yamilets Nunez1I had bought a used car from this dealership. It didn’t come with a remote start so I asked them to put it for me and they overcharged me for an aftermarket remote starter with cheap quality without even asking if I wanted after market - I would have never chosen that!. I’ve only used it once and since then the remote lost signal with the computer and I had to take it to another Subaru dealership to reprogram it. Also when I got this car it wasn’t fully detailed or clean - the windshield had dried up soap at the bottom of the windshield (a lot of it). Also the car had dents and scratches that the seller initially said they would remove before handing me the car however when I got the car it still had the same dents. The seller also did not explain how to use the eye sight technology and how it should be turned off when going into a car wash. Would not get another car from this dealership and would not recommend. Go to Rye instead.
