  I had been a member since 2004 .my account was hacked . Someone was depositing fraudulent checks by mobile deposits. I have never deposited using the mobile deposits. They will not allow me to have access to my account online . Which makes it extremely difficult since I am disabled. All my deposites are all electronically deposits. If you are disabled I wouldn't recommend this credit union

  Started going there because of Shared Branching. Employees were always so friendly and engaging that I eventually opened an account with them. Don't regret it at all.

  Love this bank. It's always welcoming whenever I go in and they actually remember my name.

  Preferred is a shared credit union for me. I have stopped in the same local branch on multiple occasions when I’m in town and have banking needs. These are by far the most friendly and helpful banking representatives I have ever encountered. Could not recommend them enough. If you have baking needs in Kalamazoo Michigan go see Preferred.

  Used this CU for shared branching a few times to make my truck payment. There's no drive-thru and the branch is very small, but I never had an issue here.

  They’re hours make it extremely difficult for full time working members to use, normally have to request to leave work early or go in late just to access any services. And now they are not servicing any shared branching members, thanks for nothing but frustrations Preferred Credit Union. And this is my only option for a shared branch within hours of my location. It’s very disappointing because the staff that physically work in the building are wonderfully!

  Not even worth one star. After waiting over 3 months to receive a debit card in the mail that never came, I closed my account. Previously, I had been charged twice by my insurance company both to my new account at Arbor Financial (who are awesome) and to the old one at Preferred. After fighting with the insurance company and getting no where, I filed a fradulent charge claim with Preferred. I heard nothing for three years, so any normal person would assume it had been taken care of. Instead, I am served a subpeona three years later. The information they provided in the subpeona was entirely incorrect. They claimed the had attempted to contact me numerous times. Come to find out they had been sending letters to an address in Arizona I hadn't lived at in two years. I had personally come in after I moved back from Arizona and provided correct contact info. (My father and brother were also account holders who the staff knew personally, and could easily have relayed a message to me.) I firmly believe they did this simply to harrass me. I paid their fee to avoid going to court on their terms, but upon investigation and finding claims to the BBB, I will be pursuing legal recourse. If you have had a similar experience, please contact me via google. Thank you.

  I love the friendliness and service here. They are so upbeat and professional. I am very pleased with their exceptional service. To be honest --was shocked to see any negative reviews because of my very positive experience.

  While the people were nice, I've never walked into a more disgusting financial office than the Kalamazoo office. It felt like I was in a cash advance offuof, not a credit union.

  I Love peggy, andrew and dena at Kalamazoo branch on the other hand the bank manager there seems not so helpful or friendly if not for her I would give 5 stars the bank manager at Kalamazoo is sole reason for 2 stars
