  My wife and I came into the college financial planning process very late in the game. Life happens so fast and then your children are in college. Fredrick Hicks has been a vital resource in a very stressful time. He has done a stellar job in walking us through this financial process giving us guidance along the way. Fredrick has helped us come up with several plans that have fit into our comfort level. He is a natural born teacher and he has been great to work with.   We attended the Free Workshop for College Funding with Mr. Hicks to learn about our options for college planning. Our son will be graduating high school in 2020, and we wanted to be sure we are prepared for the growing costs of college. Mr. Hicks explained the importance of preparing early, the importance of filling out the information correctly and meeting Federal, State and College deadlines. We signed up immediately to meet with Mr. Hicks for our college planning consultation. He was very patient with us, and made us feel secure in our financial preparedness for sending our son to college. Thank you!

  We all have our beliefs, thoughts, etc. regarding money and debt. In my case, I had a specific plan, but it was a plan too rigid to allow for anything else. While we have some money saved up for college, it wasn’t enough to pay for 4 years, maybe even 5. I agonized where this money is going to come from without having to eat rice and beans and possibly ramen noodles for the next 1,460 days until our son graduates college. You know the feeling... After sitting down with Fredrick to discuss our college planning process, discussing salary, retirement, debt, interest, that stinking interest, etc. and being honest about it, we found ways to pay for school and more important, ways to continue to pay for the education without sacrificing our lifestyle.
