  I’ve lived here for a year, only moving because the rent is increasing outside of my budget. The rent is a bit pricey but worth it, I just can’t handle the increase on a single budget. I’ve never experienced anything negative at this property. Maintenance has always handled any requests promptly. There’s an elevator in Blg D, which is very helpful. I have a river view apartment and it’s amazing! The other tenants are very nice and helpful. Garage parking is available at no charge which is awesome for those hot summer days and cold winter nights. I’ve had packages outside my door for several days when I’ve been gone and nothing has ever gone missing. It’s a gated entrance and pin access doors to get inside so you feel very safe and secure. I will add that becoming a tenant can be very daunting. The app and admin nonrefundable fee is high, and availability is extremely limited, kinda like they keep selling seats on a sold out flight. It took me 4 months, from inquiry to move in, to get in. I would definitely stay on top of the office staff FREQUENTLY (squeaky wheel gets the oil), but once I was in, I couldn’t be happier!

  I have stayed here for around a year and this place is beautiful!! The staff are always greeting me nicely with a smile. Their maintenance is prompt and friendly. They say things like "welcome home", which has felt so wonderful on long days at work. Chris is wonderful! Staff are awesome! They have fun community activities and sooo much stuff. Chris has been helpful with so much. Even one time I locked myself out (during the hot summer) and they were there so quick to help me get in.. and sooo nice. I love the water! The sound, the scenery and everything! This place is a blessing. I feel blessed to wake up and walk through tranquility outside or in. The is the best residence in between from Fulton to Newton.

  The lofts are absolutely gorgeous. I met Nemina and she gave me a tour of the lofts . She was very kind and knowledgeable. She took me around and shared the history of the building which I found intriguing . I love how tucked away this property is in Porterdale . The river is stunning and the overall community so beautiful.

  these lofts look beautiful from the pictures. unfortunately getting in contact with someone is nearly impossible. i am looking to rent but have had no returned call or correspondence for days.

  Excellent front office staff and maintenance! Yellow river direct access via stairs. Grills and a deck. Covered parking deck and a cool clean pool!

  I initially contacted them in late October. I spoke with Chris. He did answer questions but at times was a bit confusing. Stated there would be some availability in mid to late January and that he would absolutely put me on a waiting list. He told me to contact back in late December, early January to check in. I contacted them back as requested. Zero response. I was FINALLY able to get another individual from their front office staff as Chris was on vacation. During my conversation, she advised there were going to be some availability for a 1 bedroom room loft which is what I am looking for. I was ready to apply and sign on the dotted line. She then stated I would have to wait on Chris when he returns from vacation. I was a bit bummed because this individual is not very responsive!! I have contacted them once again and requesting a physical visit. Hopefully I have a much quicker response or I may need to go up the chain of command. Fingers crossed.

  I’ll give them a 3 because of lack of communication. I really like the idea and concept behind the reconstruction of a mill to lofts very cool. Their online website is very easy to navigate and you have get a good feel of what the lofts and floor plans looks like. The online application is also very user friendly. HOWEVER, they don’t communicate well at all. I called after finding their property online because I was very interested in the lofts. I had questions regarding application process/ making a visit the guy on the phone, Chris is very amiable and answered all my questions I had. I went and filled out the online application waited to hear back nothing… SO… I email and was told via email that they wouldn’t have any units available until September/October well that was fine with me because as I told him initially that’s the window of time I was selling my home all this happened in June/July. He even asked if I wanted to be on the waitlist SURE I said. No correspondence at all. No tour and yes, I asked but was told to call back schedule which I did, nobody answered. When I was able to get a hold of someone in August I was told I was still on the waitlist. I emailed back and I’m going to assume there aren’t any available units…. Communication is key in these type of situations if they KNEW they had no units simply say we aren’t taking applications at this time. But taking $275 application fee knowing no units will be available this year at this time is just bad business. All I can say is don’t apply here. Save your money and find a place that is move in ready because they don’t have any units as of now. I hope this helps anyone who was interested save their coin. My rating is based off the quality of the property and friendliness of staff not SOLELY communication hence my 3 stars and not 1 star. If it was solely off communication they would’ve received a 1.

  I’ve been a resident and business owner here for 5 years and I absolutely love the Porterdale Mill Lofts! My loft is designed just for me...a Live-Work unit where I have a separate private area and an area where I can serve my clients. Beverly and her team are amazing to work with who go above and beyond to make sure their residents are taken care of. I highly recommend this community!

  I lived here for two years and was very happy with my experience. Rent was reasonable and everything was well maintained. The pool and river were an added bonus!

  Really nice place. Great view of the river. Private parking and pool. The rent's really high though. It's more for the "new school" of portadillions.
