  I had a great experience working with Matt and Mike at the Porter Group. They were very understanding and always followed through on my questions or concerns.   Did a great job, don't be thrown off by Matts quickness and cutting you off in mid sentence. Its only cause he is absolutely confident in what he can do. He returns calls which is a plus but brushes you off like "stop worrying", so I may have bugged him a lot but he did what he said he was going to do and then summmmm. Got my interest down to 2.25%. You need like an 800 credit score to pull that off and trust me that's not my credit score. Very pleased, highly, highly recommend Matt at Porter Group.

  I fell behind on my mortgage, was receiving papers from the mortgage companies that I had been sending in and they kept telling me that I was missing something. Finally I reached out to the Porter Group and they took over all that. The reasons for falling behind was I fell and lost my job due to a brain injury, then my wife went back to work and got injured. With my head injury, I have problems with memory. So having Matt working for me, helped immensely. We finally got a Modification and the loan reschedule, so that our credit rating is restored and I never received phone calls from mortgage company.

  I worked with Matt. I ended up behind on my mortgage payments because i was going through a divorce. Matt contacted my mortgage company and they worked out a modification to work with me to get things back on track and lower my monthly payments. He has been really great to work with. If you are thinking twice about hiring this company don’t...They are AWESOME! I used to get people knocking on my door asking me “what’s going on with your house?” telling me it’s in foreclosure and if I wanted to do a short sell ... talk about Embarrassing. Then the dreaded phone calls and snail mail. Then I received an automated phone call telling me how this company The Porter Group specializes in mortgage modifications / foreclosures. I have no idea still to this day what made me take this call but for sure it was definitely life changing. The Porter Group is very professional. Matt was the first person I spoke with. He is very caring and sincere, none of that cheesy sales pitching. Everything he promised was delivered. He lived up to everything he promised and more.   I bought my home less than 2 years ago. We were on top of the world! We had a good income and good credit. My husband retired afterward at the young age of 76. Then the pandemic hit, I lost my job and all we had was my husbands social security for income. Our mortgage was $1,623.09. At age 64 I was forced to retire early so that we had another income. Because I wasn’t 66 yrs old yet, I had to settle for $743.00 a month. I couldn’t afford my mortgage and I was preparing to lose our home. That’s when I met Matthew and Michael Porter! They told me they could lower my interest rate and payment. I was scared to trust them because I live in Las Vegas and they are in Florida! Scams are at a rise during this pandemic! Their fee seemed high till they told me it could be split up in payments. The payments were way less than half of my mortgage pmts so I decided to give them a try. My daughter was struggling also so I told her to join me and let Porter Group take care of us. We both signed up! Both of our husbands didn’t agree and thought we were going to lose our homes. I am so so happy that I took a chance on them! End result! My mortgage went from $1,623.09 to (drumroll) $1042.18 I put the bank offer in front of my husbands face and happily told him “I told you so!”. I will frame that letter! It’s understandable to be skeptic over something you think is too good to be true. I am here to tell you that Porter Group is legitimate! If you need a copy of my letter to prove it to you, tell Matthew or Michael and I give permission to share. If you want to talk to me, they will have me call you.   Had a fantastic outcome with the team from Porter Group in helping me modify my very past due mortgage. They were able to work with my lender to have the modification approved and get me back on my feet and help with the stress of worry. I am glad I decided to act and work with them to help me resolve my issue instead of ignoring it. Thanks Porter Group.

  I gave Matt and the Porter Group 5 stars ! They should have 10 if it were possible! I have known Matt and The Porter Group professionally for 13 years! He actually did three modifications for me on my personal home. One after a family illness, one after the death of my husband , and one after Michael hit my home ! The modifications were several years apart! He also modified two properties for my best friend of 30 years!!! He did a wonderful job and the outcome was more than I could’ve ever expected! He is extremely professional, extremely knowledgeable, and will work for YOU so that YOU have the best outcome possible!!! If you are in need of having a loan modification on your home please let me urge you to call Matt and the Porter Group! You will not get better service and can be assured that you are working with the BEST!!! He is very upstanding and very truthful! Betty Duffy
