A. Durning5Excellent service. The lady that helped me was awesome. She was very nice and patient while processing my loan. She explained what I needed to do to raise my chances of getting certain types of loans. Thanks I'll give this bank an A+.

Sam Durrant1I don’t know what’s going on at this bank, but today I waited over 20 mins from the time I sent my deposit in until I got it back. I’m used to them being on the slower side of things as they must be understaffed, but this was just ridiculous. 22 mins to deposit 1 check is absolutely insane. Do yourself a favor and go to another location.

A C Nelson5I have only had good experiences here. I understand that everyone might not like the new model, but when I sit down and discuss my banking needs with Harjeet I always leave satisfied. He takes care of my banking whether it is a simple withdrawal or deposit to a more complex issue with ease. I barely have wait time. I would bank here again.

Judy Kelly5Have been banking at pnc in both Frederick and AA counties for 14 years and have found them to be always helpful and courteous. Today in phone conversation I found Hannah to be extrordinarily helpful with four issues. Thank you.

Witchman5I'm very happy with this PNC branch. The hours are convenient, staff is very friendly and interest rates are good. Stopped by last week and Nicole was super helpful. Great customer service!! Keep up the great work!

Lauren Johnson1Go some place else to bank, the assistant manager hannah does not treat all customers equally, im quite sure she is a racist, her behavior clearly displayed that. This sorry lady told me to visit another branch. Disgusting, huffing and puffing in front of customers and whispering unprofessional comments. No one told you to work there.

harry henders1Manager gone. Branch is terrible now. Employees leaving at 3pm. Noome knows how to do anything. No-one doing the basics like restocking coffee and water. Corporate messed up badly. Stay away.

Rob Loper1I have had the hardest time trying to switch to PNC. The first time I went in to be added to my wife's account (we are newlyweds), I ended up telling the gentleman at the branch in Waugh Chapel Shopping Center about my work. I am a bank manager for another bank. Once he found out that out, he proceeded to spend the rest of the interaction telling me how much better his bank was than my place of work. He wasn't trying to be disrespectful, but it was still offensive. That, however is not the purpose for this review. For some reason it takes like 1-3 days to be added to your wife's account at PNC. You can't just do like normal banks and be added and take care of your debit card needs that day. He told me to come back in a few days to get a debit card. He gave the impression that I could go to any PNC and they would make a debit for me right there. The turned out to be wholly incorrect. I went to an in store branch, and the bored, unhappy looking employees there told me that they didn't have the machine and that in store branches can't do that. So, trying to be understanding, my wife and I decided that maybe the first gentleman who helped us could have mentioned that in store branches are unable to make the card for us, and maybe we just didn't understand or forgot. I work in Montgomery County. So I decided to go into the branch in Congressional Plaza and request a debit card there, like the first gentleman made me feel I could do. I explain my situation and multiple visits to the gentleman at this branch, and this is not an in store branch. However they also do not have this debit card capability. I am on PNC visit number 3, still with no debit card to show for it. So I decided just to order my card. He said it would take a week to come. He also said that if something happened and I needed a card sooner, I could go to the branch a little further down Rockville Pike. Well payday comes, my direct deposit switch to PNC has taken effect, but I still have no card. So I head to the branch he told me to go to. I explain the situation to the lady at their greeters desk, and she tries to print my card only to find out that their card printer isn't working, and "this never happens." She offers to send me to a 5th branch to get this card, but I decline, explaining that I am on my lunch break and can't go to another branch. Somehow she must not have heard, understood, or been paying attention to me because she attempts to call the branch and send me there anyway. I leave without a debit card with nothing but apologies from 4 different branches. My debit card finally came in the mail, and I think I can get past these adjustment pains, with a new understanding that PNC's bankers simply aren't well trained on PNC policies, operations, and customer service. This is less their fault and more the fault of regional management and the left hand not knowing what the right hand is doing. Today, I am trying to utilize their Zelle transfer service, and, of course, I am unable to. Evidently if I received money with Zelle in another bank account, I cannot utilize my number with another account without first contacting my other bank, disconnecting Zelle from it and then going back to PNC online to register. The gentleman with PNC online banking claimed that I should be able to use as many accounts as I want with Zelle. However, according to Zelle customer service, he was just plain wrong. Additionally, in the process of all of this I found out that whoever was setting up my online banking profile selected the wrong person and put the wrong address on my profile. I have the same name as my father except I am the third and I have a different address. I verified with the gentleman in Crofton that I am the third and I verified my address with him. I feel like banking with PNC so far has been like banking with a circus. An inexperienced circus. The employees are well meaning and courteous, but they are also just wrong about a lot of things.
