PNC Bank Reviews

W Mck1Staff was polite. Management has a very thin veneer of customer service covering a core of disdain and disrespect. I do not recommend doing business at this bank.

Renee Hadley1I am a moderately successful doctor. When I attempted to use my debit card to pay $7g for a roofer, I was shocked to be declined, as my checking and (linked) savings accounts are both with PNC and it is easy to see there are more than enough funds in either account to cover this. However, when I went into the bank and they refused to OK the debit transaction, then refused to give me the cash so I could bring the payment to the merchant, I was horrified. My account was in no danger of being overdrawn, but I had no way to pay the worker - PNC was holding my money hostage. They finally offered to do a cashiers check, which I did not wish to do, but had no other option. The bank manager - David Privitera - called the merchant to set up this payment method. I was then thoroughly mortified - and embarrassed - when he went into some explanation to the merchant that my debit card spending limit was not high enough for this simple purchase. From my end of the conversation, it sounded as though I didn't have the money. It was degrading and embarrassing.

Richard Boan5Anybody’s experience over all is usually judged by the treatment that they receive initially. And then on subsequent visits their they could be some prejudice. But my experience with the entire Rockledge staff has been great every time! From the cashiers to the bankers. Todd has been especially helpful for my wife and myself on several occasions. And Oh, BTW, the alert system when PNC notices what might be some fraudulent activity, they will call me. And in any case of a loss, they have made up for my losses! That’s fantastic! The cashiers give my dog a bisque every time I bring her! I have recommended PNC to others.

Deja All Access1I was at the PNC Bank today to make a withdrawal from my account when the bank teller MS.HEATHER checks my ID, which is normal procedure and fine, but she goes over to the next bank teller and ask for her to check my ID and card. Mind you, I'm watching them the entire time. They go back and forth in conversation and check the computer and once she finally comes back to me, I ask her why did you check my idea in that manner? As if I'm trying to commit a fraudulent act. She has no words and I ask for my ID and Card back so I can complain to the branch manager. Let's be very clear, I have no reason to try and commit fraud, especially after I've been to this bank many times and they haven't done it before. I will not come back to this bank anymore and I mean what I say. On the other hand, and Ms. Katherine was very sweet and before I got in my car to leave she came to see if there was anything she could do?

B D1This is more in the interest of the general public banking with PNC branch located at Viera and Rockledge branches. Kindly stay away from banking with PNC as managers and employees at both Viera and Rockledge branches are corrupt and bribed to help various perpetrators such as realtors, businessman and schools - private and public to embezzle funds from your personal or business account. We had a business account with them which was forcibly closed down as these bank managers were actively changing bank entries before the month end closing for the bank after funds were stolen from the bank through fake payroll checks and distribution checks. Not only security of funds but also privacy is at risk as any/ all banking information such bank balances and important personal information like social will be leaked to facilitate identity thefts and embezzlements. Thereafter expect public shaming to cover up such embezzlements of funds. Chase at stadium have the same security and privacy of funds issues as PNC - branch managers and employees are corrupt. Do yourself a favor and bank with better banks like BOA. If you care about your hard earned money, kindly stay away from PNC at all cost. Thanks
