  If there was a way to give "0" stars, I would. I worked with the Alexandria Virginia Branch and had a horrible experience due to their incompetence. My loan officer did not communicate well with me, and I did not know how much I needed to bring to closing up until the day of the closing date. It had to be escalated to the manger and she herself was not pleasant. My closing date was changed, and pushed back, and I was waiting at the title company for hours. I was supposed to be reimbursed for my appraisal and it has been a whole month later. It was escalated and there was still no follow through. Had I not persisted, I don't believe anything would have been done. This has been a horrible experience and I would advice that you not work with the Alexandra, Virginia Branch.

  Great experience all around! Robert treated us like real people from start to finish and not as another loan to close. Would highly recommend using PHL for first mortgage or refi!

  I was always treated like I was important and needed. My Lending agent, Robert Clute, was always ready to help me out and answer any questions that I had. I was well pleased with the service and treatment.

  this is truly the worst company I have ever had to deal with, they do not pay your taxes on time, and you get threatened from the city, they over pay at other times and the money comes from your escrow causing your mortgage to go up 230.00 per month, I am writing this as i sit on the phone for an hour and a half. Do not use this company, since they raised my mortgage I now have to refinance, yet they are real quick to say you can refinance with us, lol unfortunately ,i have to give them at least 1 star.

  This company is the worst. Yes they will help you out, but in the process they will mismanage your money and tell you that you're behind when you aren't. They will fail to inform you of any issues with your account and push you a big bill without you even knowing that you owe money. they will set you up to get you back on track, make you feel like you are getting back on track, but in reality you are still behind. update: Holly, a manager, helped reconcile my account. I am so happy that someone actually took time to help. Not everyone I have encountered through this was helpful. His this situation got handled was not fair to me at all.
