Pinellas Federal Credit Union Reviews

Morgan Puyear5What a pleasure it is to come to your Clearwater branch and have Amy Hocking and the whole team greet me. I have a car loan and a credit card with Pinellas Federal Credit Union and not being computer savvy Amy's Hocking is always willing and able to assist me with my needs. I feel that it is very important to single people out who provide world class customer service. I'm glad that I chose Pinellas Federal Credit Union and that they chose me.

Mark Young1Worst financial institution in existence. After 30+ years of banking there I've closed all my accounts. Their customer service has become non existent. Nobody EVER answers the phone, you leave a message they may call you back the next day their interest rates suck there is absolutely no reason to have an account there. How they manage to keep the doors open is beyond me

Google-y Eyes5I'm not even a member of this credit Union and an employee who works in a Dept that literally gets threatened, went out of her way to contact me and help me with a problem that saved me big time, despite the fact that she shouldn't let her location be known for her safety. The credit union staff were all very helpful and I was blown away by the service they gave me when it gave them no benefit and was a pain I'm sure. Thanks PCFCU / CAR-1554!

Cassidy Fritts5Julie was so nice to work with and got back to me super fast with any questions or updates I had. She made my loan process stress free and fast. I will be using this credit union from now on!

Danielle Robinson3I've had them for years with no problems. Just really wish someone would modify their online banking. It used to be so user friendly and I never had problems with it. Now that they changed it over to the new system I can never accesses my account. It's constantly making me reset my password and then locks me out.

Melissa Mari2It is actually hard to write a negative review for PFCU. I have been a member for over 20 years. I was able to get great rates on two car notes over the years, and decided to hold on to membership even though I just hold a savings and IRA now with them. However, I find the customer service just continues to worsen the last few years. As an example, I applied for a loan early this month, had no confirmation of loan, then when I did inquire was told someone would get back. When that didn't happen, the response was, "Dear Member, I do not know why no one responded." It's sad because I believe it is a good credit union just poorly managed.

B K5Me and my Family are long time CU Members and speaking for myself, I’ve NEVER had any issues nor have I ever dealt with anyone at the CU I haven’t liked! All of their employees are very easy to deal with and very professional and friendly! I’m about to get my 10th Auto loan....and won’t go with anyone else!

Chau Nguyen1I've been waiting for almost 1 hour for someone to come talk to me about home refinance. Later, they sent a branch supervisor Linda Ventura out talked to me 1 minute:"you have to call 1800 number to talk about that. I don't know their products." What kind of supervisor is that? If you don't know your products, you shouldn't be a supervisor of a federal credit bank. Unbelievable!!!! I rather they told me that 5 min while I was waiting, not after 1 hour waiting... wish i could give 10 time negative for that lady.

Jeffrey Pertz2I want to like them because I love the idea of credit unions. However they have a really sucky online banking. Always have to reset my password. Also they don’t update their locations on Google Maps so I’ve never any idea where their branches are.

K Interrante3We love the idea of a credit union so we were happy when we found out my husband's new employer qualified him to use PFCU. The staff is nice but the institution if really out of date. They only allow 400 cash withdrawals a day and 1000 credit purchase. We bank 99% of the time electronically. We never use checks anymore. Their bill pay is also not efficient. They wait until the recipient cashes their check before it is reflected in the system. PFCU does not have Saturday or Sunday banking or phone customer service hours. So they are nice and we will keep them for savings but they are not geared toward the electronic banking customer
