  I hate to say this but this company is a rip off. I’ve been with them for about 3 years now and they have good customer service (promptly answer phones, will help with problems etc) and very rarely have outages other than planned down time that they notify people about. But they try and charge 300 dollars for a gig internet connection. Other companies will offer this for 80-100 dollars in certain areas. There is no difference in fiber optic line or anything, they simply bump up the data traveling through the line to your house. If they are the only service in your area like they are mine then you may have to suffer through it. But if there is another company that offers higher speeds at lower prices (doesn’t try to price gouge every cent out of the customer) then I would strongly suggest trying them out before going with pine land.

  Reliable network on my internet based business in Americus GA. Have had it in two locations now in town… same reliability. Wish I could have it at home in the county and replace my unreliable cable based internet service. I try to work at home, but often just leave for the office because of my poor home internet. Please let me know as soon as it is available in Sumter County please. I am ~1.5 miles out of the city limits.

  Very efficient, professional business. We use the alarm and security camera services, and their service after the sale is terrific! The alarm side is called Southeastern Fire & Burglar Alarm.

  Both ladies in the Swainsboro office were very nice and informative when I inquired about new service and when beginning the service. I was a little disappointed in the wait time from application to installation but we were not in a hurry after 5 years of not having internet and cable service we could wait a few more days. Price is comparable. The internet service is great, very fast. Especially considering we are in a very rural area. The installers were very nice and extremely patient with my toddler niece who was very nosey. We would recommend Pineland to anyone in their service area!

  For 80 bucks a month, you should he able to watch netflix or whatever on 2 different TVs.... Or play an Xbox. It is impossible to play a game, or run nore than 1 TV without the internet completely crashing. For $80, you'll get around 5mb to 20 MB per second and a constant 1000+online ping.

  Been a customer for almost 2 years and I have one problem but it is the main reason I put it at 2 stars, DUE Date!! This is the only company I know that won't change due dates. If you get paid monthly or on the first of the month do not purchase this service. Every 28th or 29th of the month I am cut off and after asking repeatedly for a different date and explaining my situation I just get I'm Sorry Sir we can't change the date. Oh and the best part is I have to pay for the fee to turn it on every 1st of the month.

  Good afternoon, Mr. Pres. While I cannot look up your account specifically without more information, the due date at Pineland is actually the 10th of each month and has been so as far back as our current longest term employee can remember (30+ years). We do give each customer until the 15th of the month before a late notice is mailed and late charges are applied the account. We then allow until the 29th for full payment to be made before suspension. If the 29th falls on a Friday or holiday, the suspension takes place on the next business day. If you would like to work out a payment plan over the next few months to get on schedule, please contact the office between 8am - 5pm, Monday - Friday and one of the Customer Experience Associates can assist you.

  It took 3 months for us to get service and now we are paying for 20 mbps but every night lose internet or it drops down to .85. We have contacted them but of course now have to wait for a technician to call us at their convenience. Meanwhile we've been paying for the 20 speed but have not yet had it that fast. If there were any other options we would not have them.

  Exceptional customer service and great internet, TV, and phone packages. Fiber optic internet is the bomb. Unlike the "big" companies, when you call to talk to a customer service rep, you talk to a real person and not put on hold for hours. Every last person I have encountered with Pineland Telephone has exceeded my expectations and are very friendly. ~~Duane Bishop

  So the account is in my roommates name but I pay the internet portion and he pays tv, pineland has a odd way of treating customers who pay for a service, I get it your company try’s to save money by trouble shooting over the phone cool, but when I tell your rep that hard wired is not the issue it’s the wireless connections. Yes I understand that wireless isn’t the most reliable but if I’m pay for your 100meg every month on top of that your commercial router and I’ve spent hundreds on other routers bc that what you say is the issue bc the nighthawk router is not good? Or the vellop mesh routers aren’t good fine but if your top of the line router is no good and you said it would work you need to fix it, thanks or bbb would be happy to hear from me
