  My wife and I have nothing but praise for Pilot as a property management company. Every single person we interacted with, from the leasing agent Laura, our building manager Marissa, to the maintenance fellow John, was incredibly kind and helpful. Their communication was immaculate and we were never left hanging when we reached out to them. Every single one of them is a stand up human being and I wish them all the very best. When we moved into the unit, the 20 year old hot water heater was failing but they had it replaced within 24 hours. During the ridiculous 110 degree heat wave that swept Seattle last summer, our refrigerator couldn't handle the strain and died on us. This was in the middle of massive Covid supply chain issues and we weren't the only tenants who's fridge couldn't handle the strain but they still managed to get us a new fridge within a week and gave us an ample credit towards our rent to help offset spoiled goods and take out costs. It wasn't an ideal situation but they did everything they could to rectify it promptly and for that we are very grateful. There were some security issues with the parking garage (crime in Seattle is a massive issue, nothing unique to our building) which they immediately rectified by reinforcing all the doors, changing the keys and adding security cameras, after which we never had another issue. It feels like standard procedure these days for property management companies to nickel and dime away your security deposit but there were no such shenanigans with Pilot. We took care of our unit and as such got our entire deposit back when we moved out. We have dealt with many property management companies over the years and Pilot has for sure been the best. We recently moved states and we are really missing Pilot compared to the disinterested middle class slum lords that we currently have, but can never get ahold of.

  Imagine having a housing voucher, not having any evictions , but your denied due to a cell phone bill in collections and a car repo in 2020. Both issues happening due to loss of income from an entire world pandemic. Feel like people should know what they are going up against before putting an app in.

  I loved living at the Villa Marina property in Madison Park. Great management, very responsive and helpful, always responded pronto to any issues needed help with. Super nice and thoughtful. Great neighbors and building. And the views and location are some of the best in Seattle. Great neighborhood!! Emily, Visith and the rest of Pilot Ventures team rocked, along with John the very helpful handyman. Highly recommend.

  Pilot management took over our building. Upon moving out I had the maintenance guy responsible for doing the walk through and fixing up post move show me if there was anything i should do so that I wouldn’t have anything deducted from my deposit. He told me that there was nothing and I was good to go. I had the carpets and the apartment professionally cleaned and moved out. Several months later (after me inquiring about it from the leasing office/apartment manager) I received a letter thanking me for leaving the apartment in such great condition but then a list of charges including paint touch up, having the carpets professionally cleaned and the apartment professionally cleaned totaling over $500 of unexpected charges deducted from my deposit. When I inquired about these charges the leasing office said unless I could provide the w9 for the vendors to prove that they were compliant I wouldn’t be receiving any of my remaining deposit back. Yazmin Mendoza has been a nightmare to deal with.

  we've been living in a Pilot owned property for close to a year. Not only was our move in first rate, but also our maintenance needs have been fulfilled quickly and responsively. I do love our building and while the building itself is a little older, they've done a wonderful job (along with maintenance staff and the owner) to make the experience first rate. Thank you!! Shoutout to Emily and Andreya for always being so patient with us!

  I loved it, at first.. then realized these are scam artists that smile, lie and nod in your face while driving their BMWs and renting you compromised apartments. The previous tenant in the unit that Visith and John rented to me had problems with mold growing under the sinks in the kitchen and bathroom with prior tenants, lied to my face about it when I asked in the tour, happened again while I was living there causing me to get sick, I moved out and they didn’t even renovate. Mold cropping up on window sills is one thing, mold growing on the wood underneath the sinks in the bathroom and kitchen is another.. If you like being lied to, have mold painted over to “seal it in” and made out to be crazy when you’re losing your mind from being auto immune, working on mental health issues and having your literal walls causing you to be sick.. then this company would be great for you!!

  I have spent 2 years in a property owned by Pilot Ventures and have nothing but incredible things to say. The ease of applying to rent the property to moving in was seamless! Anytime I have had a maintenance issue - the responsiveness and speed to fix was nothing short of phenomenal. Very impressed with the professionalism, responsiveness & ease of working with the property management firm!

  I lived in a Pilot managed property for almost two years in the recent past. Move in, move out, and the duration of the tenancy were all professionally handled and the manager was always very responsive when our property needed attention. Terms of lease and pricing were very clear.

  We had the pleasure of being shown our unit by Andreya Derby, who is mentioned in a previous review. She was so kind, very communicative, and made sure that we had everything we needed as far as our unit was concerned. Pilot has been great, and we’d totally rent from them again.

  Worst apartments EVER! Rudest staff in the world. Management is useless (Emily AKA SENIOR MANAGER LMAO), Darren IS WORSE, He doesn't know how to manage the team. I been asking for a renewal for now 6 months and no one gets back to me, including Darren. Dirty place. Apartment was in bad conditions when I moved in...I want to update Cinthia, Jasmine and Andreya don't help at all when you call with questions.
