  My mom referred me to this bank, they have some positives However, as far as protecting an individual as a consumer… They have not executed! Most banks process claims right away, and then investigate. In my case I assume they are investigating however, I just don’t know. I’ve got several reasonings as to why my claim hasn’t been processed, or reviewed in a timely manner. (Staffing issues, promotions, webinars, lunch breaks) & every excuse under the moon as to why claim hasn’t been reviewed for provisional credit. I sent over 5 pages as to why I shouldn’t of been charged by this particular merchant. It’s now been over ten BUSINESS days & still not a peep. My family has experienced more then just this situation, when it comes to PAFCU not protecting the consumer. I just feel as if their inner issues between the two banks supersede customer need. They are a little out of date with some other their features, & practices as well for example Apple Pay, Zelle, & up to 10 day (or longer) wait times on claims. I do like the bank, I can only pray they get it together.

  Peoples Advantage Federal CU was my first ever bank and continue to serve me till this day. I am in the process and planning to buy a home and Randi Simmons has gone above and beyond anything I could ever ask for. I reached out to here to get a plan together to prepare to buy my first home and see refinanced my new car for me just b/c the auto lender was over charging me. Randi is the best hands down and the type of person who cares about the person not just the numbers. If you ever are in the market for a home purchase I wouldn’t recommend anyone else but her! She is amazing!

  Awesome customer service and personal service. Treat you like family. Look forward to many years as a member. Have been with many banks where i have had horrible experiences. Came to People's Advantage and spoke with a knowledgeable lady with outstanding people skills and personality named Jessica who opened my account and went over my credit. She was very helpful and took the time to answer all my questions. I highly recommend this credit union.

  Excellent Credit union Everybody is so friendly , I have been with them for 5 years and had different loans with them... Randi S is the best Mortgage Lender i have work with. She answers all of your questions and is very patient ,i am working with her closely over the next year to bring my credit up and purchase a home ....   The service received on a vehicle loan has been poor. Each question has to be asked multiple times before receiving a reply. Frequently, the information received is inaccurate or incomplete. Worse, payments were not applied as directed. No calls asking to clarify requirements. Instead, assumptions were made and applied to the account without our knowledge or approval. Take your financial business elsewhere. You will be happy you did.

  We are so glad we choose Peoples Advantage Federal Credit Union to help take steps and approve us for refinancing on our home. R. Simmons was so helpful from day one. She even made sure to come on the day closing to make sure everything went as planned. She made, and PAFCU made sure everything closed on time, went smoothly, and answered all questions on a timely manner 24/7. I got to say I wish I had been with them all along but she did a fabulous job getting us less years to owe, lower interest and better insurance on flood and closing cost down that was in budget. I had been banking with Peoples for years, and loans that was great already but since they started mortgages, I didnt think they could do better, but I was wrong,,, they super successful beat my expectations and then some. So if you need to get new mortgage or refinance try Peoples Advantage Federal Credit Union first!!!! They are the best, ask for Ms. Randi Simmons.

  Karen is nothing short of wonderful! I was looking for an auto loan, mind you, I'm not even a member of people's advantage and I was recommended by my brother. During my first phone call with Karen I knew that I would become a member of the bank. She was so genuine in helping me. I have never felt so comfortable, not even at my own bank, which wasn't even qualifying me for a loan. If you are looking for a great credit union to join, the Petersburg branch is definitely a friendly one!
