  I was in here today to try and pawn my laptop We did are homework beforehand and just wanted a 100.00$ loan for a few days hahaha what a joke!!! Us knowing what you can pick up a used one for we figured a 100.00$ loan was fair WELL the employee who helped us told us that you can get the same laptop used for under 200.00$ WELL we did our homework and can get same laptop used for 500.00$ to 600.00$ used as we were looking at other laptops there they had the same exact laptop there priced for 499.00$ so if they can get same laptop for under 200.00$ why would someone go there and pay 499.00$ for a used one? After showing them that they had the same exact one for 499.00$ why would I only take 50.00$ loan on something you are going to sell for 500.00$ if I couldn’t get it back. We have been to this establishment a few times and spent some money with them. They have now lost a customer due to them trying to take advantage of us. I am a veteran and I don’t pull that card at all but today I really needed the money for medication I needed very desperately need I told them this and they looked at me like I was from another planet. We went to another pawn shop and got the loan we needed with out any question all I had to say was I need to borrow a 100.00$ and it was done I will no longer go to this pawn shop and will tell all my friends and other veterans what kind of ppl are working at this shop if I could give the a rating of no star’s I would. And I suggest that nobody give them any of there money or ask for a loan from them because they will try and rip you off but not this guy never again will you see me here.

  Unfortunately, what you brought in was NOT what we had on our sales floor, there are a lot of variables when it comes to computers and electronics. What's on our floor is not a laptop it's actually a tablet with an optional keyboard attachment for it. The keyboard alone for this tablet retails for $199 not counting the tablet, which brand new sells for $699. I apologize that we didn't take the time to explain the differences resulting in your misunderstanding for what we were offering. Our sales and loan associates have guidelines to follow for pricing and loaning on merchandise which is put in place by management. If you ever feel that what you are selling isn't what we think it is you can always ask for assistance from a manager who will be glad to explain any differences or possibly make an exception to the guidelines if it's feesable. We're sorry you felt this way and encourage you to give us another shot in the future. Don't let a specific circumstances or a misconception of a pricing difference make you feel that we are looking to take advantage of our customers. We take pride in being fair honest and upfront. If you decide to come back and give us another chance ask for a manager to assist you.

  A good place to get DVDs, but if you have anything of value to pawn, go elsewhere. I was actually told by the clerk that "We don't deal in high end merchandise'" which surprised me because I would think that's where the real profit is. I should have figured that out after looking at the caliber of goods they had for sale. I gave them two stars because they were courteous and do have good, clean DVDs on the cheap. RE: Response I explained to your staff that only TWO of these knives were ever produced, so of course you couldn't find one used, however the other one was being offered for sale and easily searchable through any search engine. Things like that only go up in value and I was looking to pawn it, not sell it (for a quarter of its value, I might add) then retrieve it within the next week. Is that not the business you're in? My knife was purchased and put into a collection, never used and in mint condition. Do you really think I'm carrying around a $2000 knife in my pocket as an EDC? You had a chance to explain why you declined the item, when I ASKED in the store for an explanation and received a vague reply of, "We don't deal with high end items." If you would just admit that you don't have the resources to handle such collectibles rather than make lame excuses, I would respect you much more. Seems you're in the business of paying people in a tight spot pennies on the dollar for their items, and that's fine if it the way you choose to do business. SO OWN IT AND STOP MAKING EXCUSES. Perhaps you should display a sign on the door that reads: Only low-end items accepted. That way, folks will know where they stand right away. I gave you a fair review based on my experience. 'Nuff said!

  Sorry for the misunderstanding, we were unable to find your item selling anywhere in used condition. Without having a comparison to validate or justify the price you were asking, We decided to pass on your item. Custom knives are a hard sell for us and folks looking for that caliber of a knife don't shop our store very often. Rather than potentially offend you with a lower offer we decided to pass on it allowing you the opportunity to try to find a buyer elsewhere. We did not intend to come off the way you perceived it. For that I apologize. Not saying your item isn't worth what you were asking, we just couldn't find any to base an offer on. I would suggest a local knife retailer who has a larger knife buying audience or customer base that is looking to by an item as unique as yours. Thanks for coming in and we welcome you back for future potential business. Hopefully next time we can find examples your item selling in used condition and make a deal. We don't make any money if we don't come to an agreement on value and price. Have a great weekend. as explained above, we explained why we weren't interested in making an offer. regardless of the story behind it we are a second hand store and everything is used, unless we purchase it from a wholesaler, or distributor. no excuses were made, explanations were given which we felt you were entitled to. just like you are entitled to your opinion. if i cant find an exact USED item selling i can't make an offer! sorry for your experience.
