  Yesterday I visited here it was my first time ever.... It was an exceptional visit.... I was very pleased with how both Angela & Hector explained to me how things go..... They were more than fair they were very respectful, kind, and helped me out of a very precarious situation! Thanks to them I was able to cover my bill.... Plus, they have a beautiful selection of jewelry! Plus, Angela gave me spot on directions on how to get home ( not familiar with the area)... They have excellent reviews & I like that they respond to their customers.... That's a rarity in this day & age.... Would definitely sell again or pawn with them! Thank you so very much.....   Got offered one price on the phone but conveniently when I went in that person wasn't there Since I cannot reply to your comment I showed your worker my call log from the 7th where the call was placed I'm sorry the worker was also unable to identify your number where it is listed on google which was both referenced I now attached a photo showing that it was indeed your store that I contacted Maybe you should educate your employees with all the phone numbers your store has as well I do alot of google reviews with usually 5 star reviews but when an owner wants to hide in the back and not honor what the employee offered and when I asked your employee to have you come out to speak to me he refused you also should be paying for ruining the packaging of my item as it was 100% entering your store

  Good evening. Should probably try visiting the same pawn shop you call. I know it can get confusing at times. I can assure you that you were not given a quote over the phone as that is not how we do business. Especially for a Michael Kors watch. You miss are more than welcome to come back and deal with the manager and bring these issues face to face. It was a low end watch that we typically turn away. Our employees are trained to deal with such issues. Also please get correct story as we've now heard 3. It's hard to help otherwise. There was no female employee on the 7th that would have given a quote. We have video of the entire thing and take accusations very seriously when it comes to damaging product. We will gladly take this up with correct authorities if you continue to harass and slander.

  Owner offered an amount one day and came back a few weeks later then offered a substantially less amount. It’s business and I totally understand but it felt a little insulting to have the same item, in the same condition at two completely different offers within one month. When asked the guy said “prices change and that’s it” Ended up selling it to another source for roughly the same original offer, let’s just say I’m glad they earned my business rather than these guys.

  Hello sorry you feel the need to leave a negative review with it being a $50 difference. We were actually very generous in the offer despite the condition of your equipment. Prices do change and we go off CURRENT market resell value. You came back weeks later as you said and wanted actually $50 more than what we originally quoted. Our response also wasn’t quite how you explained. We gave you an explanation on how we go upon an offer and where the items were listed . Glad you got what you wanted out of them eventually.   I took an item there to try to sell that was practically in mint condition, they took it into the back to look it up and inspect it. After the item was bright out and they did not want to purchase it. I took a look at it after they handed it over. No longer mint condition. Not to mention they put it away in correctly and did damage to the packaging. So now a collectors item I kept in mint condition is ruined by idiots mishandling it. No I’m left with something next to worthless because of bad business. Lucky for me I inspected the item have video and picture proof of the condition of my item. I am currently filing with better business, and presenting them with my evidence. I don’t not suggest taking anything there that you know is worth money. Low down Slime run these businesses in this area, so tread carefully in Allentown, pa especially businesses that are in center city. These people are not there to help or please they are there to screw you out any way they can. Not to mention tip anyone and everyone off as much as they can because no one knows what they are actually doing. Like all run down dirty businesses in that area not to be trusted!

  Hello we have video too of you tinkering with such product we didn't take out (also on video). We didn't want to handle too much considering the urine and feces smell coming off of your product. Kurt Cobain collection that was missing pieces correct? Next time you have an issue you should approach face to face instead of mumbling to yourself while walking away (also on camera 🙊). Also if you would like to put our well taken care of business down, be sure to present yourself better than what you complain about.

  I've been shopping at Pawn America for over 15 years. I never had a bad item or a bad price. Before you go out to target or Best Buy you definitely need to hit the store. They truly have everything! Staff is extremely accommodating and will give you the best price for what it is you're looking to sell.

  Worst pawn shop in Allentown rude employees they aren’t knowledgeable of items at all and they will low ball you if your in Allentown u better off going to pawn plus at least you will get your money’s worth

  I am pretty sure you came here because other shops did not have money. We are in business for 30 years by doing good ethical business. We apologize you did not get your way. We can tell you that a loan here is better than no loan at other places. We always have $$$$$ :)

  This is one of the best pawn shops out here in center city there is another one next door that cool to but this is a honest respectful buisness I sold one of my chains there the owner allowed me to get it back for a great price besides that the workers are very respectful and fair if you have something worth it that you want to sell or pawn check them out

  I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking to sell/pawn or buy items! They will actually take the time to research an item if your selling, and they will give you a good price for it. The gentlemen working at the counter was very nice and professional, the owner whom I spoke with briefly was as well! I'll definitely go back as I have other items I'm looking to sell!

  This is the best pawn shop in town. The prices are so cheap for so many quality items that are practically brand new. Yes I would refer them anytime..

  Been going to this pawn shop for quite some time. Great family owned business. Angela was very informative on a ring I had. Best place to pawn/buy goods they definitely work with you. Totally recommend this place.
