  As a freelancer, and self-employed, it's been a struggle for Banks to take me seriously. Albeit it successful in my freelance role, those 1099s seem to be a big deterant to a lot of lenders. Paul and I connected first in 2020 where he gave me some good advice on waiting to apply. In 2022 we reconnected and he walked me through the steps to get pre-approved, and all the way to underwriting so I could go to closing in 14 days and stay competative with cash offers. (Which seemed to be a lot these days!) I was able to close on my dream condo in Old Town Alexandria, and the process was so straight forward. Paul also met with me to discuss the disclosures before Closing so I could be comfortable with what I was signing. Really appreciated his, and the Apex team's, help!

Apex Home has a mortgage Portal that made it easy to send and receive documents . Paul was our Mortgage Consultant, he was available and returned my text, phone calls and emails during evenings and weekday . I started telling all my friends and family about them .

  I first worked with Paul and his team in 2016 when I purchased my first home. I refinanced this home with the team in 2020. I purchased a second home in May 2021, again with Paul and the Apex team. Long story short, this is the best team to get a home loan with. I recommend them without reservation. Long story: I am at the point in my life where I wanted to start upgrading my life and moving it in a different direction. A big part of that was upgrading homes and building wealth. I spoke to many friends about the best way to do this, but when I talked to Paul, he gave me some incredible advice and recommendations on buying the home I wanted while building wealth in a rental property. When I first heard it, I didn't think this was possible with my budget. He didn't pressure me in any way and let me take my time in making all of these major decision while kindly keeping me on track to achieve my financial goals.   Paul exceeded my expectations of what a Loan Officer would typically do.
