Not only did he find a better interest rate than the local banks offered, he found underwriters who were willing to look at my application without trying to fit a “square peg into a round hole”.   Chip is the sole reason we are in our new home today. Being self-employed, we struggled to find a mortgage lender that could work with us. Then we spoke to Chip and suddenly all of the previously insurmountable obstacles just vanished. He located underwriters who would work with us and gave us detailed instructions on exactly how to communicate with them successfully. We got a lower rate than we expected and closed faster than we thought possible. Chip is extremely responsive and patient, and working with him is a pleasure. If you're self-employed and renting your home, you NEED to talk to Chip ASAP.
