  Excellent presentation but after I signed up I did not get any valuable inputs/suggestions. I felt they were more focused on trying to sell their insurance, lot of unanswered questions. You are off their call/appointment list if you are not interested in buying their insurance. Absolute waste of time and money, I wouldn't recommend them to anyone.

  The College Planning Center consultants are not only experts at service, but also at educating parents and students about the cost of college and how to not over pay for it. I was completely uneducated about the processes needed in order to send my children to college. I attended one of their educational workshops where I learned so many aspects about financial aid, planning for when that first bill arrives, as well as how to better position myself financially to not only pay for college, but to be able to structure my assets so that I can plan for my future as well. I would highly recommend them to any family that is in need of financial planning help and guidance.

  I attended John's free seminar on Thursday, July 13, 2017. He was very informative and lively and genuinely wants to help parents not make BIG mistakes in helping to get their children through college. I have scheduled for a free assessment to uncover how his program can help. There is no cost or obligation nor did John pressure anyone into registering for the assessment.   I first saw John's presentation at Boyertown Area Senior High. Because I had further questions about our college planning, I booked my free consultation, where I was told I'd be a good candidate for their company to help me with college/retirement planning. I felt my first 2 meetings with the planner were helpful, but then when I pushed back because I didn't like the singular plan we were presented with and wanted to see another option or two in order to decide what would be best for our family, I received no response. I think this company has a standard plan that they present to families and if you have any financial goals other than to pay for college and plan for retirement (i.e. you want to buy a house, you want to travel, etc.) those are not considered. I don't believe there is support for that. When I was put in touch with an associate for follow up information, I reached out first explaining my situation and questions so there could be a focused, strategic conversation. The response I received was "Wow, a lot going on here....let me get back to you." And then no response. I was so discouraged. I have emailed my planner, with no response. I have emailed another individual in the office expressing my dissatisfaction and there has been no response. I am disappointed, to say the least. I spent a lot of money with the impression that this would be a collaborative effort to financially plan for our future and I am just left with the feeling that because I didn't follow what they said (after them knowing me for maybe 3 hours of my life), I was written off a client not at all worth their time. I would not recommend using this company's services ever.

  I attended one of their college workshops last night and it really opened my eyes to the need for discussing my children's college education and how we're going to pay for it with someone who can give us excellent advice when it comes to financial aid, grants and loans, etc.

  John Lennon was very precise in his overview of college financial planning. I would highly recommend that you take the time to become more informed.
