Deb Petipren1I had a terrible experience at the Warren branch today. I just needed to deposit one check into my account, but the teller was distracted, talking to another employee, and unfocused on the transaction. As a result, she deposited my funds into the wrong account. Later when I checked my receipt, I noticed that some random name was at the top, with the wrong balance. (She didn’t even check the name on my driver’s license which I provided, as well as my correct account number.) Although they were able to reverse the transaction, I will never go here again. I don’t trust careless, unprofessional people with my money. Looking for another credit union with higher standards!

Mia Ellis1I usually never have a problem at this branch, but today is what drew the line for me. Since the lobby is closed, I had to go through the drive through for service. I waited for a good 10 minutes behind the person in front of me (which isn’t a problem, we’re going through a nationwide pandemic so I know that the drive through service will be a bit slower due to the amount of people that come through, service provided to each individual, etc). I PATIENTLY wait, pull foward, grab my money to deposit, and send it to the teller. I don’t know who I had, but I am absolutely disgusted with how she “helped” me. I’m a server, and a majority of my tips are in singles... and I had brought a lot to the bank. She asks me how much money I had, and I was blunt with her, I told her I only knew half the amount. She then proceeded to laugh, at this point I don’t think she realized her camera was still on, and she quickly shut it off. A few moments later, she comes back telling me that its going to take a few minutes because “I decided not to count my money.” At this point I’m livid. I am on the phone with people in the car who can hear her talking to me this way, even they were shocked. Took her 5 minutes MAXIMUM to count. She comes back and tells me next time I need to count my money so that she has it to compare to her count (fair but also, I know that working in a bank, you always have to count money 2x if not 3x so what does it matter if I counted it or not?) and she told me that it was not fair to the car behind me to have taken so long... So then it must’ve not been fair to me to have to wait 10 minutes prior for the person in front of me? My whole point out of this is now, I hate coming to the Warren location. I’m always uncomfortable and the staff is always rude. If you can drive out of your way and go to the Normandy branch, I recommend doing so. This isn’t my first problem with your branch, but I’m making it my last.

Dale Brown3Nice credit union... kinda not together tho forgot to order my checks... and rushed and kinda uninformed bankers, not a very pleasant experience esp with Tricia. I'd avoid her at all costs if you wanna protect your attitude for the rest of the day. But Jeff is the one to go to he is awesome kind and patient and actually is personable.

Andre Pickett1Our Credit Union was on Facebook. The week of 8/10/19 advertising $1,000 No Credit Check Loans. For their Summer Loan Specials. I applied online. They asked certain questions that should not be on a no credit check loan. The Next 10 minutes I receive several credit alerts, informing me. My credit had been pulled. I spoke with Jeff one of their representatives and I asked him. Why was my credit pulled? If they’re advertising a No Credit Check Loan? Up until this day I haven’t received a good enough answer. The bottom line is, they will pull your credit if you say yes to certain questions on the application. The Credit Union says you have to be a member for 90 days. I also read on their website that you will be required to join. Once you’re approved for the loan. It still doesn’t justify why my credit was pulled. This is why I’m giving them 1 star. If I could I would give them a zero for dishonesty.

Kaylee Clark1I will NEVER take another loan out from this company again nor will I EVER recommend anyone to this place! Once our loan is paid off we’re closing this account and transferring to another Credit Union that won’t continuously screw us over. The people who answer phones here and service customers have the nastiest attitudes and are NO HELP! I’d give this place no stars if I could. Never again! Smh.

Joe M2OUR CU is friendly and nice but at the end of the day, they are way behind. I have been a customer for 4 years and I have three main issues with OUR CU. 1. They continually shut down my debt card for security purposes when I travel. I travel a lot for work and Its consistently getting declined based on geography. I have called before I left on trips and specifically requested they not shut it down - they still do and it always requires a 30 minute call to re activate my card, which then will not work on my next transaction out of state. Drives me insane. 2. They have an "application" but its pathetic. Like really bad. On Android, it force closes on both my phones (Galaxy s6 edge, LG G4), has limited functionality, and cannot deposit checks via the app. 3. They do not offer chip and pin style cards. I use my card A LOT. I average 3-4 replacements a year from just plain use and the mag strip being worn out. Mag strips were cool in the 80's, In case you didnt get the memo, its 2015. I registered a complaint with one of the older tellers and she chuckled when I asked why they dont have pin and chip and also why it takes 2 weeks to get a replacement card (other banks cut the card while you wait). She chuckled... Let me ask you a question Google users - Do I look like Jay Leno? Am I a stand up comedian? I will say although I do not like OUR CU, Nancy is one of the nicest people I have had the pleasure of dealing with. She is professional and on the ball. I will be taking my money elsewhere, not that it matters to them - but it will be more convenient for me.
