  Outstanding customer service! Rodrick, the branch manager, spoke on the phone with me on a Friday for 20+ minutes and took me through what was required to open a new account for a small nonprofit in North Portland. He emailed all the documents that needed to be completed, and when I met with him on the following Monday, everything was processed quickly, professionally. This interaction setting up a new checking account was a first for me, and it went so smoothly. PLUS everyone was friendly, attentive and helpful. Couldn't ask for anything more.

  Rod at Oregonians Credit Union made this experience such a breeze and helped me feel completely confident in choosing this credit union to handle my car loan. Rod answered any questions or concerns I had with a high level expertise. It truly shows that they care about their members. I'd highly recommend Oregonians Credit Union if you're looking to get a loan or any banking needs! 10/10!

  Honestly the most dysfunctional credit union I have have tried joining. After a hard pull on my credit to open a simple checking account it has been days of trying to get my online banking set up. Passwords and and all log in information don't work and I have wasted so much time and energy trying to open this account. I've been in contact with the credit union for the last 2 weeks and still a huge hassle. I would highly recommend using a different credit union. 5 stars for the nice guy I've been emailing, but 0 stars for the credit union.

  I'm so glad that I joined OCU. The people are the best, customer service unbelievable. Roger contacted me when a wire transfer cleared just because he new it was important to me. Yes, he picked up the phone and me know I didn't even have to ask, he just new. How could I go anywhere else. Jim

  Oregonians Credit Union St. Johns branch is EXCELLENT ! I have always been impressed with the courteous, helpful, and knowledgeable staff. They have always been patient, friendly and informative. The branch manager Emily has been especially helpful to me. I genuinely appreciate her thorough advice on the best ways to keep my money as secure and safe as possible from potential cyber attack. Clearlly, Oregonians Credit Union St. Johns branch understands how to provide the best service to its members. They are excellent!

  The staff is great! Very friendly, very helpful! So this is not a reflection of the people! What keeps this from being any better is the online system and app which are so full of glitches and bugs its just Maddening. As other online banking and app platforms go OCU is way behind in ease and functionality. Trying to make an online deposit - the app shorts out. Trying to do bank transfers on a PC, using 5 different browsers (just to make sure it wasn't the user) and unsuccessful on every attempt. Think you signed up for online banking in the first place... CHECK AGAIN! The worst part is every issue that I/We have had as a complaint is a well known issue with the associates who have to deal with the frustrated customers! Finally had to break down, and go into the branch! To make it happen. As I said, the people are great, and they got it done. But the technical system they keep promising to update, and bring up to speed is going to be a make or break for me! Time is short for that particular promise OCU.........

Trust me when I say there is such a large gap between the quality and capabilities of our online services now and what we will be launching in the near future, that's it's taken a LOT longer than we initially thought it would.   This is an incredible bank. Roderick is just amazing, very friendly and professional. Julia was very friendly and Jake and the other tellers are right on top of it. Their fraud department is like no other, they catch and alert me in a timely manner. I am a bit of a challenge for them!

  This has been my neighborhood credit union for almost 4 years. I have used their banking, home and auto loan services, and they are always professional, courteous, and quite frankly have delivered the best customer service at a bank that I have ever had. They care about their members, strive to deliver excellent customer service, and make a real connection with you. Can't imagine going anywhere else. Thank you Grant, Emily and team!!
