  When we originally bought our house in August of 2018, our mortgage company was Open Mortgage, but they sold to PennyMac, like most initial mortgage companies do. However, in April of 2021, we had James reach out to us asking about refinancing our home to get a lower interest rate. My husband and I had already discussed refinancing when the time was right, so we spoke with James more in depth and he explained everything so perfectly to us! The process was kind of long, but James kept us updated on where we were at through the whole thing. After we started the refinancing process, my husband and I had both received calls from other companies trying to get us to refinance with them instead, but once we told them the rate James was able to get us, they told us that was pretty much the best rate and they couldn’t get us any better, so we’re very thankful to James and all of the other employees who helped us along the way (Dan and Sherri)
