      I just applied for a loan through this company. I’m not sure what to think, they don’t correspond well. I have turned in all of my info including a voided check and still haven’t heard weather I’m approved or not. Oh and then the lady had my social wrong. I’m a little worried that this is a fraud... we’ll see. They aren’t off to a very good start.

      Whatever you do....DO NOT EVER get a loan with OneMain Financial. As you can see they will rip you off!!! I have made payments totaling $1,103.65 since June 11th and my balance has changed only by a few dollars! Lesson learned...will never do business with them again. Praying for a blessing to get them paid OFF. The NERVE of them to email me wanting me to refer someone to them. I would NEVER refer Family, Friends or Associates to this Company for them to get ripped off TOO!! After reviewing all of the negative comments we should take to Social Media/BBB and put this Company on BLAST because as hard as times are they should not be allowed to get away with ripping their customers off like this! If people are informed about their shady dealing they will have no one applying for loans. Getting no BUSINESS will put them out of BUSINESS and that is EXACTLY what should happen!!!

      My fiancee and I got a loan from one main in 2017 with the loan we purchased the insurance in case something was to happen and the loan was covered right? Wrong my fiancee flipped her truck and is now paralyzed! That happened 3 weeks after we signed the loan ! This week one main called her and said her insurance benefits are over and she still owes $600 and is now destroying the little credit she has! Horrible customer service!

      I lost my job after I took out loan with unemployment insurance. Had to get attorney to get unemployment benifits that took 5 month. Got new Job Jan 2020 then lost job April 2020 due to pandemic. Unemployment Insurance recouped paymts not eligible for 30-60 days. Was never told when signing contract. They knew the situation. They sent acct to Law Firm and they REFUSE to settle while the world is going through a pandemic!

      These people are very unprofessional! First I refinanced my loan with them only getting $100 out of it. When I went in that day, they had a kitten that they found outside locked in a room in the back! No food or water! Then Ana put "optional insurance" on my loan but didn't tell me it was optional! I had to call corporate and have them take it off. Third, on Friday 08/02/19, Andrea Ratcliff called me at work! On my work phone! When I told her I needed something sent to me to show what I owe because I was about to file bankruptcy, because they never gave me any paperwork, she LAUGHED and said I couldn't file them on bankruptcy because I hadn't made my first payment. They let me skip my payment for May, for "customer appreciation" month but didnt tell me I was going to have that interest put on my first payment after I refinanced! I'm definitely filing a complaint with the corporate office, the better business bureau and the CFPB!!!!

      They are stealing money out of my account without authorization. Took a deferment payment out of my account and then said I still owe a full month back payment. Do Not Do Business With These Crooks.

      I can never find the help I need. I call several offices, but no one can tell me my payoff balance. I've called twice about some concerns and never received returned calls. They are trained to take money, and that's it at the local offices. Corporate office has no contact on the website, and technical support has you go through so many advertisements, you give up. When I pay them back, I'll never go back again...SMH!

      Their interest rate is higher than the mob's. Even if you're not late with a payment and you call them and you've been with them for years ,they will harass you. They called seven times in one day. Do not borrow from this company whatsoever.

      One Main Financial is a horrible place to do business. Kirsten at the New Hampshire branch is rude, unprofessional and cannot do her job. I have been a good customer, making ALL payments on time. Last month, I contacted Kirsten to see if I could get financial assistance in traveling to my home to see my family for Christmas. I was denied for any loan increase, however, she offered me the opportunity to make a partial payment, deferred payment. She sent me the paperwork via email and I made my partial payment. After collecting my payment she contacted my to say the paperwork was not received in a timely manner and the deferment not approved. She blamed me for not following through with the process. She continued to harass me with phone calls throughout the holiday. I am a disabled veteran with PTSD and the stress she has caused has been unnecessary and unjustifiable. I have been a good customer to OMF. On December 29, I called Corporate and spoke with MS. Delita Lee who informed me that indeed my deferment was approved, my payment accepted and my account in good standing. All I needed to do was make my normal payment in January. I called Kirsten and informed her that I have spoken to corporate and that my deferment is in the system showing approved and my account in good standing. On December 7th I received another phone call from Kirsten in which she said I needed to call her to talk about my options. Today is December 8 and I just got off the phone with Adreanne at Corporate Customer Care and she informed me that now in the computer shows my deferment was not approved and my account is not in good standing. I informed her that I am quite sure Ms. Delita Lee is not a liar!!! I am a veteran on disability and have a very tight budget. Adreanne said that she will look into my account and see if she can help me. I wait for her return call. Do not do business with this company. I will be asking for a complete review of my account. I am seeking legal assistance through a veterans legal defense fund organization.
