  Took out a load they called me repeatedly to offer me more money I finally need the extra help and they denied me

  They put me in a back room for 2 hours without saying anything rarely checking on me then when they finally got my loan setup they apparently wanted to use my car as collateral which cut my loan in half. Before I even signed anything on my credit report it showed that I already had owed them money before I ever said yes. Then after the fact they don't stop calling you even if you've paid your loan, they literally don't stop and they're like vultures. I've paid them nearly $500 in the last month which my bill is only 170, and now it all the sudden jumped up $100 more. Needless to say I would definitely research and check all your other options before ever saying yes to this company

  I had a crisis with my dog being sick and husband refusing to spend money on anymore vet care. I was not going to let my dog die just because I couldn't afford emergency care. So I took a chance expecting to be turned down. I explained why I needed the money and had the money I needed to pay vet bills the next day. I was beyond flabergasted a financial company would lend me money for my dog vet bills. They saved my dog's life and I will be forever grateful to One Main Financial!!

  Anyone that is in a bind and really needs the money, there are other options. This place is such a horrible place. Please please look into all aspects before you do this loan. I had a 5000 dollar loan from this company. They charged a 75 dollar fee right off the top so my loan was for 5075 dollars. I have been making payments of $180.90 since October, 2013. So I have made 9 payments to date and my final payoff for today July, 1, 2014 is 4,850. So I've given them 1,628.10 and my total amount owed has only droped 225 dollars. This is literally a robbery. I went to my bank to purchase a car and they said that because I have a loan from One Main Financial that is actually HURTING my credit because I've borrowed from a loan shark. Even with Never missing a payment, the payment coming directly out of my account, they are still reflecting negatively on my credit. Please reconsider before using this place. It sounds like a great deal at first but the total payoff will be over 11,000 dollars on a 5000 loan!!! Look into this before you do it!!! Know what you are getting into!!

  Used years ago for some short term, quick cash. Nice staff but the loan must be for a short term or it will be too pricey to use.
