  This was the easiest loan to work through. Mike helped me immensely and with a great attitude. They were willing to work with my situation and were very helpful and patient during this process that was completed the SAME DAY I walked in! Amazing. I would recommend this loan officer to anyone struggling right now. They worked with my budget and even gave me insurance coverage options that barely changed my total monthly payment. Great company and I hope they get the recognition they deserve for the work that they do so efficiently. Thank you OneMain and Mike!

  I was impressed with the service provided by Ben Merkle! He explained everything well, and well Spoken very professional! The %rates are not too bad as well. If I need another loan I will definitely consider them and recommend them. Hope this helps those looking at reviews. Thanks Chris.

  I went into One Main Financial and met with Mike 2 years ago to take out a personal loan for a few reasons. My oldest was going on an expensive trip for school and I needed to build my credit during my divorce. I read the reviews, I was a little scared at first and even more scared when I had to put my car up as collateral. But Mike was wonderful at explaining the process. Yes, my interest rate was high but I looked at it like I was paying to build my credit. I even went back and re-upped my loan last fall when I had to send my middle child on the same school trip. Fast forward two years, I've made every payment on time without fail, not one time have they ever tried to take my car....because I always made my payments on time. I've increased my credit score by roughly 100 points, I was pre-approved for a mortgage, and walked into a bank yesterday and was approved for a personal loan without collateral and a lower interest rate. One Main Financial was exactly what I needed to get my life back in order and on the fast track to home ownership. If you're responsible, always employed and make your payments on time this is a great way to build your credit. Good luck and thank you Mike, what you did for me and my kids will never be forgotten.

  (2019) Had a good experience. They were able to assist me in what I needed to accomplish. Fulu was great and made sure to get everything taken care of for me. Also, shoutout to Ben for stepping up and helping me as well, even though I wasn’t his customer. Much appreciated to everyone there. Would recommend them. (2021) Edit: They’re great here, at the Lansing branch. Worked with Ben again and he was super helpful. Easiest process ever. Recommended for sure to anybody who needs their help.

  Don't get a loan here. $265 fee they don't tell you about until you're about to sign your paperwork, they make you manually send checks in the mail while your accounts you are trying to consolidate continue to build interest making it so you have to continue to monitor them and pay interest on interest. On top of that be prepared to turn down insurance upselling for about a good half hour before you even start talking about your loan. The worst part of this experience is that after I paid my account in full they tacked a penny onto my account that they claimed was a "rounded up portion of a penny" worth of "Interest" and then charged a full months payment to my account on file because there "was still a balance on the account"?! After cancelling the pending payment for $30 through my bank they then called back and said never mind about the penny and closed my account. Go to lending club so you can actually get the money wired to your account and not have to deal with hidden fees, poor customer service, sales pressure, and fractions of penny's becoming a balance on your account they will charge a full revolving payment for. Glad to have this experience behind me, save yourself time and money and avoid one main.

  This is pretty much a payday loan that is tring to use collateral in order to lend you money. Applied online and they said yes and then when talked to them they said they would need something like a car for it to be considered even feasible.

  They can’t even update my personal info, this is the worst bank I’ve ever had, there hired help is no good.
