  Absolutely terrible service and they do not look at your pay stubs or bank account to verify income. They give you the run around. Don’t waste your time. I make $185,000 per year and still wasn’t approved for a small debt consolidation loan for 5k. So ridiculous

  I really had a very very bad experience with this branch of OneMain financial. Initially they took all the documents and approved the loan online and one of the agent working in this office confirmed that my loan of a very small amount was approved and they scheduled an appointment with me to sign the documents in the office. I was shocked to know that they have rejeceted my loan when I went to sign the loan documents in their office. He said he will give me a call after sometime, but no call and I re-dialed the office after couple of days. The concerned person told me that my loan was rejected. This is a third class service from this branch of OneMain Financial please do not waste your time here. I felt discriminated here.

  Multiple issues with this branch. I was approved for my loan and required to submit paperwork online so I did. After waiting over a week I called and asked about my loan. They said they were processing it and they would call me back. Nothing! I call back a week later and they say they have no record of my loan application. I call the loan application office. They say my loan was closed because it was never processed or submitted by my branch, so after a certain amount of time an application closes. I was screwed over and will be advising everyone against using this branch!

  I opened a loan and gave them my title to my car as collateral. I paid this loan on time as agreed. A couple weeks ago I called the gaithersburg branch to ask how to get my title back. The girl said it takes a few weeks to process and i could pick it up at the branch. I just called again and was told the title had been mailed back to me after loan was opened with them as lien holder and that they don't have my title! Now this has become my problem and i must go to mva to get another title. If anyone is considering getting a loan thru onemain financial, i would recommend choosing a different business to do so....

  I have a great, bad and then great again experience with this branch. I originally took out a loan early in 2017. Amie Jallow was the loan officer who handled my first loan and ultimately my most recent loan. She's the epitome of professionalism and makes you feel comfortable and welcome when you visit the office to close your loan. She kept me informed of all of the details of the loan; what documents and information that I needed to provide, called me when something changed, emailed me updates and just stayed on top of everything to ensure that I had the best possible experience. When I applied for my second loan' which paid off my first loan and took cash out for a second; I was assigned a different agent initially who was the antithesis of Amie Jallow. The experience was so bad that I declined everything but a couple of days later, I decided to make a comment to OneMain about that experience and they immediately called and emailed me to fix the situation; apologizing for the experience and placing me back with Ms. Jallow to close my second loan. I observed other loan officers here as well who appeared just as polished and professional as Ms. Jallow, but it's a testament to the employees and the company how they addressed my concerns and that I continue to be a customer. You're not always going to get the best rate in the world, depending on your circumstances; but you wont' be treated better anywhere else. I'm very appreciative of my experience with OneMain and the exceptional employees like Ms. Jallow.

  DO NOT GO TO THESE VULTURES! It will be the worst decision you made. I thought that I called in and made my "final payment" two months ago and I just started getting auto withdraw charges again. Either they are incompetent or no one at this location cares other than signing you up into a debt prison. Even if you have no other option, whatever problem you are facing won't get solved using these predatory lenders.

  So, this was my first time dealing with anyone from One Main. Let me tell you, my experience wasn't pleasant. I was not greeted when I walked through the door, however, two of the three women working there aren't helping other customers. Secondly, once I'd gone through the whole rigamaroll of Ms. Diana's questions, I was told that I would need collateral for the loan, "is it ok to use your car?" she asks. I let her know the car isn't in my name but my husbands. She looks to her coworker and the woman mumbles if it's not in her name and the car isn't paid off we can't use it. I wouldn't put my car up for collateral in the first place. I obviously don't need to put myself in that type of predicament. However, the most disappointing part of it all is that this woman didn't offer any other options! Then she says welp there's nothing else I can do for you! Are you kidding? It's the lack of customer service that I'm most disappointed in and not the fact that i didn't walk out with the loan! It just wasn't meant to be. Someone really should teach those employees some manners!

  Francesco was extremely helpful in securing my loan. I was very satisfied with his professionalism. I got to my appointment early and he took over for Dianna who was also very helpful as well . Thank you, Bob Koenig

  Sharonda at the Gaithersburg location made it very easy and quick to open an account. She was very professional and polite and spoke to everyone when they entered the building.
